Just tell him sweetie. Be affectionate or give him a pet name or something. Plan a candle lit dinner at your or his home and you prepare the food. Anything where its the two of you and its romantic.

Just tell him and then by your actions show that you mean what you say. The actions include:
1. Being sincere and honest with him
2. Value his opinions and views
3. Not just take from him, but give as well
4. Discuss with him before deciding on any action to take which affect both of you.
5. Any differences with him must be not be emotionally handled.
6. Do not take all the credit yourself and apportion blame to him!

start by telling him short and sweetly. dont make it too much of a serious big deal or he will get uncomfortable. you can say "love ya" with a small affectionate nibble of the ear. or a light peck on the cheek and saying "do you know how much i love you?". lightness is the key. once you get that down, they you can be more serious eventually. just make sure you lay it softly so you don't freak him out but he still gets how much you really love him. good luck!
