Say hello to your new best-friend. What are you going to do when you meet some guy you are attracted to and he to you? There is nothing wrong with having someone in your life you enjoy talking to, sharing things with and yet not being attracted to. Don't settle for less than the whole package. You will regret it later.

your not shallow. He just isn't the one for you. sorry for the bad news. The good news, when he's the one--you'll know it.
your gonna have to end the (pretend-romance) I know you want to keep him, and you might like the attention, and it's so refreshing to have a nice guy around, but if you tell him now, it won't hurt him as bad if you were to tell him next month, or next year, and what about you? Don't you deserve the real thing? yes you do.
What if you turn him off, then maybe you can still be friends. The sure fire way to turn a guy off is to get too emotional, or needy. Call him 50 x a day. Talk for an hour about your cramps/pms. Invite him over for a pajama party with your girlfriends, for oatmeal mask, and pedicures. Ask him to babysit your cat. Don't let him pay for a meal. Take him shopping, grab a bunch of BIG undys, but be really indecisive, should I get pink HUGE undys or white HUGE undys? No I lke the yellow HUGE undys with the butterflys.

Well first of all it sounds like you really like this guy as a great friend, but with chemistry too! But on the other hand, it also seems like you are not attracted to him in the way you think you should be. Just remember that its always up to you whether or not you like someone. You are not shallow, and it is better to be true to yourself rather than try and force yourself to liking someone. Because if its really meant to be one day it will just hit you. If its not thats okay. Just continue to communicate with him about how you feel and tell him what you do greatly value about him. Either way he will appreciate it I'm sure. So don't worry, just never hurry. Always stay in touch with yourself, and treasure what you already have. Don't worry, there is no "right" way it should be.

You're not shallow you're just not physically attracted to him. You have a more emotional bond with him, and you're trying to fool yourself into thinking you can get attracted to him. He's more of a emotional crutch by I'd say by what you typed here. He seems more like the friend type of person to you. Tell him how you feel when you get your emotions straight and you know what you want.

If its not there its not there. Its possible you are being a little shallow, but I also don't buy into the idea that if you like someone's personality, thier looks don't count at all. It is true that It should not be the most important thing, but it count or else we would all be happily married to ugly people

Physical Attraction occurs with-in seconds of intial contact w/someone. If you didn't have that attraction at first then this is nothing he can do to change that. Some people look further than mere physical attraction. Maybe thats what you should do.

Be honest with him and tell him that your not interested in him in anything beyond talking on the phone. You cant force yourself to be attracted to someone, it will make you miserable. Besides men arent stupid either, he will figure you out after awhile. So stop pretending!
