For some reason Im really shy in person when it come to talking to women...how can i over come this? Does it bother women when a man comes up 2 u and says hi cuz i dont like to bother people and i feel i might be bothersome to women...its not like im some fat slob...im in shape and am a nice guy and am funny just a lil shy...any ideas ladies??

I dont get it. I was at a wedding sitting and eating with some people I didn't know too well - they were talking about relationships and when they asked me if I'm involved and I said 'no.' Then some girl asked me "Well, what about in the past?" - I told them that I've never been involved with anyone before - a virgin basically.

They couldn't believe it for some reason. Then the table became quiet and no one really talked to me afterwards - I felt pretty discriminated against and also as if they were trying to embarass me for being a virgin with gossip. I have no problem saying that I'm a virgin - I'm not at all ashamed by it at all, but rather empowered that I don't 'give in' to any sexual impulses which makes me feel that I'm in complete control of myself.

I dont understand whats so bad about being a male virgin at 37, or really what there is to be ashamed of. With all the sex on TV and everywhere shouldn't one actually feel a little empowered that they can control it?

What do guys think of women that want to have an open relationship? I'm a realist, I know guys cheat, and I know it's going to take me an awfully long time to find someone who won't, and who's right for me. In the mean time I don't want to stay at home knitting all day - so what do you all think of "the open relationship"? By the way - I'm not a slut so don't make any assumptions.

I'm unhappy with my boyfriend, he doesn't treat me badly or anything. I'm just unhappy. Should I break up with him? Or give it some time and see if it gets better? I love him, and I like talking to him and all, but he's a very quiet guy, and doesn't like to do many things either. Which can be boring, and which is why I'm not too happy. I would be sad without him though. I've been avoiding him for the last 2 days, because I don't know what to do anymore. Should I talk to him?

There's this guy i like... but i'm nervous.... shy.... or more like just not 100% confortable around him....So I can't be my self around him.We're technicly seing eachother... so we do spend some time together... But I don't want him to think that i'm boring without him knowing the real me. what can I do ??? it's hard to be really confortable around someone ur really intrested in...!!

I keep seeing questions asked by short girls, usually around 5' tall and guys that are tall seem to prefer these short girls or don't even like tall girls. What's up with that? I am six feet tall and just wondering if I even stand a chance with these tall guys. I understand the need to be taller...but really. Do tall guys like tall girls too??

ok. i met this guy like a year ago, and ive been hanging out with him alot. last night i went and saw him and some other friends, and we got to run around in the rain, which we both love doing. we always hug like 60 times a day, and every time i hugged him he would say " i was hoping for something more". i am now wearing his necklace. i found his myspace, and it turns out he already has a girlfriend, even though he told me last night that he was single. i still really want to go out with him, but i dont really trust him any more. what do i do?!

I had already asked this question but I had to add more detail. Ok, so I have this bf (sort of, I don't know what we are anymore). I met him online a little over 4 yrs. ago. We chatted, talked on the phone and met in person after 3 weeks. He was attracted to me, I wasn't to him. But we talked and talked. It was so much fun being with him. I had never felt that with any guy.So I decided to "try him on for size", we dated for 2 weeks, but I just wasn't feeling the sexual chemistry. So I told him that we should just be friends, he got mad and we stopped seeing eachother. 3 wks later he called me and said we could be friends. So we became best friends. Later that year, he met this girl, an acquaintance of mine, he liked her a lot, the feeling wasn't mutual, she made him think that there was something then dumped him, he was really hurt and I was so mad at her, I called her up and said some nasty things to her, she told him that I was in love with him. I denied it.
