Boy are you going to get a nasty response to this question....but not from me. I was once told this was a psychologicall thing and that just seeing over weight people triggered this reaction from certain people because they are disgusted by heavy people and deemed them as lazy. Turns out, it's not so true. I have an overweight aunt who's borderline obese and she always smells like flowers, but then I have a really overweight brother-in-law whose smell is on the verge of making me vomit. I literally frebreeze my couch cushions after he leaves our home. There is no polite way to tell them to get lost. It's rude and even you know that, it's why you are asking. Your best bet is to walk away and say nothing if it's a stranger. If it's someone close to you, buy them a basket filled with scented soaps, shower gel and washcloths and pray they get the hint.

What the hell kind of question is that? I have never noticed fat people smelling anw worse than thin people. The only way they would is if they haven't bathed. Maybe it is you that smells, and you should shower more often. That is the most stupid question that I have ever heard of. Tell one to get lost, I hope they kick your butt when you do!

Okay, before you say anything to anybody. Take all your clothes off. Stand in a long view mirror and evaluate self. If you are perfect then thank GOD, because HE made you. If you are not perfect, still thank GOD, because HE made you. It is not the way a person is on the outside, try getting to know a person for what they are on the inside. Do a self evaluation test, asap.

I wouldn't be so critical of fat people, you might have that repulsive smell coming from yourself one day......So much ugliness in the world today.....

First of all you don't have to be fat to stink, you just have to neglect hygiene. I am sure you won't have to tell them to get lost since you will run people off with your attitude.
