I have been talking to this girl for awhile and we have even tried to get together and go to a movie or dinner and such but every time she has stood me up. After words she will not talk to me for a few days then insist that something came up that kept her from going? However each time we were going to go out she would not even call to say she could not go. So am i being played for a fool or what?

shes 13 im 15..it only 2 years....and if u like them it dont matter....she was all over me...and i could tell she liked me......so i asked her out....she said idk maybe...well its been about a month now..and she's really backed off.......well anyways....her and her mom are really close...and she told her mom..that she likes me...more than a friend..but she wont date me becuz she is scared of us breakin up..and thinks that if we do...it will be really weird seeing each other and stuff...what should i do...what if she loses interest....and y would she have backed off....how much time should i give her...will she come back around?? .what should i do..i like her so much..and trust me ...ive liked many girls...but none like her..i wanna be there for her....i want her to cry on my shoulder..what do i do to get her back...without "scaring" her??

There is this girl who has been a good friend...she works with me...one of my friends told me that if you love a girl, make her feel special...I started making sure while I am around she shouldn't have to worry...I was always there to support her...I would wait for her at lunch...but lately I felt she was not comfortable....I aksed her and she wrote me an e-mail that "give me some space...one can not be in mood to talk, joke or party all the time...there is some problem which i wan to solve at my end and dont want to discuss..."

I wrote back..."That I inderstant that sometimes I crossed my limits. And that I will not interfere in her work, crack jokes or sms her any more...be happy"

To which she replied "Thanks for understanding.."

I think I have my bf's ex's phone number. She likes to call every once in a while "just to check up." I don't like. It wouldn't bother so much except that she knows he's got a girlfriend and when she called on his birthday she said something like, "I'm surprised your girlfriend lets you talk on the phone. We know who wears the pants in this relationship." I've done everything to make him happy and I've never been controlling. I thought it was rude. She lives about 20 minutes from him and the only reason he even answers her calls is that if he doesn't, she keeps calling and calling and calling. I'd like to call the number just to be sure it's her and to tell her to f*** off. He won't do it b/c he doesn't want to cause problems I guess. I think it'd be easier to tell her to leave, but whatever. What should I do?

I've heard this comment a few times on various trips I take with my long-time girlfriend of 5 years. From the title you can imagine, I am a white male and she is a chinese female.

What is societies view on yellow fever? Is this a growing conern for people of either backgrounds? Is this just a result of increasing interaction of peoples in N.A.? Or is this truly some sort of trend that some people take pleasure in playing with?
