When I first told my lady that I loved her she didn't respond as her last relationship ended badly and she was abused very badly by her former mate. I told her that was fine but that I was falling in love with her. At the same time I made a prediction that within 3 months she would be saying the same thing. Now I'm not trying to say that I'm any pyshic or anything but I was right. We talked and learned much of each other over these three months and sure as I'm typing this answer she told me that she loved me also. Now 2 years later we are engaged to be married and have set a date of May 20/07. Instinct is a good thing to follow at times and it will usually let you know if the person is real or just playing with you. Trust your instincts and always communicate openly and honestly with your mate.

Love is so complex in our society......
But if I could guess---that person would make your every need his or hers
For that person, your thoughts, fears, ambitions, opinions, actually MATTER to them and are worth hearing.
There's a certain subtle sweetness in the way they give their attentions to you.
You faults have no real bearing on their affection for you.
