i went out with this guy for almost 2 years and we broke up because supposingly he wasn't feeling the love nemore. he moved to a whole different state and after about a month i got a text saying that he wanted me back and he felt stupid for breaking up with me, he says that he feels depressed and although i love him 2 and i want us to get back together but i dont think thats its going to work out,especially over the phone. i dont know if he just wants me back to ease away his pain or because he really wants this. he's cofusing me should i get back with him or just leave it alone? i dont wanna hurt him! help!

My Dad and Mom were married 47 years when he passed away from a galant fight with cancer. They were never perfect, but for some reason they always worked things out. Has our generation taken the McDonald's approach to relationships in that we want it fast, convenient, and wrapped up in nice packaging? Whatever happened to people working things out. I have so many friends that are calling it quits after 10 years of marriage because they are bored, not in love, or just want out. My Dad told me before he died in April 2005, that it is not the easy and good times that make a marriage, but the hard times where you dig deep inside yourself committed to making things work for the sake of the marriage. Have we lost this value. I find guys and my girlfirends don't even want to make an effort to a relationship if one little issue pops up. When is love worth fighting for and when is it time to let go? What does everybody else think? Am I being too cynical?

I have been speaking to a guy via msn for the past 3 years, we always got on really well. A couple of weeks ago we met up in Leeds, and I stayed at his for 2 nights. Ok, me and my girlfriend moved into an apartment with my brother and his girlfriend. I am only 11 months older so we're like the same age. Well his girlfriend is biatch and she made my girlfriend leave so her pot head best friend could move in. Well my brother has lied to our mom, and everyone else just to make his crazy girlfriend happy, which I found out is entirely impossible. He doesn't do anything but drink a little and she smokes pot, pops pills and all that jazz. My girlfriend has been mistreated and I'm pissed at my brother because he's justifying his girl's actions and everyone knows it's not right. Plus she calls my mom and blames stuff on my girl all the time. My girl has a fulltime job while the other girl quit work at Target after 2 weeks!!!! My mom is taking her side and I feel like everyone is forgetting who the good guys really are. Plus that heffer gave my girl 1 days notice to move out.

I'm talking to a lot of dudes right now...just trying to see my options. I've been single for a very long time now I do want to settle down but not for a little while. I have been in a relationship with this man on and off for the past 2 years. Last Aug., we broke up for the first time when he hit me. I immediately left him but was back within days.
The second time I left was Christmas Eve. He had been ignoring me for 2 weeks. Supposedly I had done something but I don't know what it was. I was back by early Feb. I would stay with him from time to time but we weren't intimate but one time. 2 months later I was out once again. (all of these times, I left on my own.) I was back by the end of the week. This time no intimacy at all. It seems he's not even interested. He keeps treating me like I'm an idiot. I'm actually a pretty intelligent person. We argued today over his internet porn problem and I just can't do it anymore. I can't waste my life away with this loser while my soulmate may be out there waiting for me. The problem is I'm currently unemployed and I really don't want to go back to my parents. I'm too old for that. I'm 29 no savings & no job.

My girlfiend and I went to a pawn shop the other day to look at CD's. When we got there, instead of going over to the CD's, she went right to the case with the wedding bands. We've been going out for 7 months and we don't have any plans to get married. We have joked around about it a few times but all in fun. She even says that I'm a lot more involved than her in our relationship. She even told me her ring size after we left the store. Does this mean anything or am I reading this all wrong?

I know this is more of a personality thing but, if you had to make a choice would you say Men are kinkier then women or vice versa.
