I'm asking this general question mainly to girls because I've wondered about this and I've gotten several answers. Some girls tell me that you should become friends with em first but not long enough to get yourself into "the friend zone". They say that makes first dates alot easier cause you can focus more on having fun rather than trying to get to know the basics of someone. I'm usually the skeptic about this approach but I've thought about that and it makes sense cause you'll have more fun and there's already chemistry there. One girl told me that 75% of marriages started from friendships. I don't know.....what do ya'll think?

I have always been a little bit of a loner and im fine with that, but with just my parents at home with me, and my work taking up a good portion of my time- how can I get out of my shell? ( I'm 20, and going to be starting my 3rd year of college in the fall) I just want to enjoy my 20's and not say the highlight of those years were hanging out with my parents and working at the restaurant I work at.
