my ex and i broke up a year ago, he said he wasnt ready for commitment. He still texts me. He text me last saturday saying he was at a stag and part of the message read "the place is full of ladies but tell me why am i thinking of you" he said in another that "commitment scares him BIG BIG BIG time" thinks hes afraid of being let down or something. Why is he still doing this to me? Its not like hes using me in the sex department as we hadnt got to that stage...

I messed up (being too clingy?) along the way of my relationship with my girlfriend. Shes starting to act weird and disconnected (from what was once love). Now Im trying to stop it and turn it around.

So during our last conversation on the phone I asked if she wanted to hang out later and she said maybe (still in her mood). Later on she texts me asking if she wanted to hang out and I texted back telling her Im kinda busy now. She texted me back saying 'That's cool....ttyl....'. I havn't talked to her since then but I plan on telling her we need to talk. I get the feeling she might want to break up, and in this case Im wondering what I could say to make her not want to break up (without bring needy).

been hurt many times, been abuse in every way imaginable...which cause her not to really associate with people, been working since she was 16, raising a child since she was 18, the best way she can....but yet she hasnt been able to find a good man who loves and respect her and wants her for her....until she mets a man who is 19 yrs older than her, and he's like a gift from God....keep in mind she doesnt like young men and never did....so why should the age difference matter if we are happy.....should we pursue our relationship even further, or just continue to date and see how it turns out, or end it all together?
