I am a nice guy and wondered if any other nice guys seem to get sh*t on all the time aswell

yes yes yes yes! it always seems to happen!! im a nice guy, i`ve been used as a shoulder to cry on endless numbers of times! the very girl i like keeps on finding the biggest jerks of guys, it lasts no time, she gets dropped, heart broken again and its back to me crying about how awful he was to her.... and then comes the real sting in the tail, those awful words we all hate to hear - "your my male best friend" y am i always there for her?! y does the same thing keep happening?! she tells me how great i am, how good looking i am, how nice i am... then nothing! am i too much of what she wants?! too perfect for her?! you could say im overqualified?!

It is true, nice guys (and ladies too, I'm sure) often finish last.
The problem is, the bad guys pose as good guys and often bring other lies with them that make them look more appealing to the gals.
The bigger problem I feel is, nice girls tend to convince themselves that the bad guys are 'okay', even if they beat them or cheat on them. From their perspective, if they've dated 5 bad guys, each is as bad as the previous, so the occasional beating is worth taking because they 'have someone'.
Its worth noting that nice guys don't ALWAYS finish last, and with the right amount of effort and luck, the good guys score and score big.
The real question is, do you want to drop your life of being a good guy just so you can win? If you have to lie and cheat to win at something, then it's just not going to feel like a win. Psychologically, the cost is too high and that's why liars and cheaters need to have more and more, to try and fill an ever-expanding empty hole.
If you are truly a nice guy or a nice girl, take away with you the pride of being such, and care less about losing out in a game you sometimes can't win without cheating.
Eventually, your day will come.

I think that maybe other's take your nice guy personal as a sign of weakness. And therefor think they can get away with letting you finish last. But just think, they're not letting you finish last, you are. Just because you're a nice guy it doesn't mean you have to give up everything you want. There are always shades of gray, not only balck and white, because not everyone is perfect. Be willing to fight for what you want, but when the time is right!!! Recognize when it is time to be nice and time to perservere!!! You can be a nice guy and do a not so nice thing every once in a while. maybe you're overstraining yourself by always having to do the right thing.

They don't always finish last, sometimes a girl can see through the bull$hit bad boys play on them and then the playing field is alittle more even....It can be tough because its so much more interesting when a bad boy is willing to risk all or nothing for a moment of passion...and if the mood is right ..that's pretty much all it ends up being....Its the real women who have the common sense to see though such rules of engagement and want more than a moment of pleasure but a life time of happiness..that's when the nice guy ends up winning.

Yes nice guys may finish last BUT they may end up with the best gal! If you are a christian person you will know that the best wine was saved til last! So my point is ..while all your mates may seem like they are scoring all the hot chicks , they in fact might be scoring the more needier self absorbed ones who need instant stroking of their ego.... in other words you will score the nice chick in the end if you continue to be the nice guy that you think you are!!

Nice guys don't always finish last, but I think they sometimes have trouble starting the race or seeing off the opposition. You can make it clear what you want and look out for yourself and still be a nice guy - plus you'll get more respect.

Nice guys do not always finish last. They just have to wait around for a girl who is tired of crappy guys. My husband was 27 before he found me. I was tired of crappy treatment and had sworn off dating because of bad treatment and games. I told him the next guy I dated I would marry because I was tired of all the junk in the world. He said OK. We were engaged two weeks later. We married after 13 months and will be celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary in August. He is the kindest person in the world. I have many female friends who hope to find someone just like him.

no cause my bf is a nice guy and he sure isnt finishing last. in fact i think hes coming in first place. ;)
nice guys r the best ones, sometimes it just takes a girl awhile b4 realizing that. they like the big bad ones when they r younger just for fun, but when it comes to settling down and raising a family. the big bad guys finish last. cause the nice guys r the ones we want in the end!
i was lucky enough to find the nice guy b4 i got in trouble with the bad ones. follow yr heart and never give up!

Its not just nice guys you know. Its all nice people who finish last. I have also noticed that if a pretty girl goes with the nice guy and treats him good, then all of a sudden he gets balls and takes it for granted. Ive learned that whenever you treat anyone nice they take it for granted. Doesn't pay being a nice guy or girl.

Yes, girls like bad guys. Nice guys get left in the dust. Try being just a little bit of a jerk with a sort of "I don't care what you have to say, I'm my own person, I'll do what I want and if you don't like it too frickin' bad" kind of an attitude and you'll see a change.

It may seem that way sometimes however any girl worth having will not hurt you especially when your such a nice guy. Dont worry just bide your time and you will meet the right people to be around.
