Approximately two and a half years ago (give or take a couple of months), I met a wonderful man named James. He's a very close friend of mine. He's honest, sincere, trustworthy. He's the only man I've met in a very very long time that I believe I can trust. He has a great sense of humor. We flirt often, but nothing has ever come of it. He's kissed me three times, and I don't mean just a quick peck on the cheek or lips. Yet he's never expressed any true feelings of romance toward me. However, I fear that I am falling in love with him. I'm not sure what to do though. I want to tell him, but I'm afraid that he'll reject me, which in turn would make our friendship awkward. What should I do about this? Should I try to convince myself to get over him? If not, then what could I do to win his heart, without actually telling him how I feel? Any suggestions and advice would be so great right now.

I don't know how to make it.I have tried it such as: "Hello can we be a friend?" Why Do Girls Start Dating another Guy Right After Breaup? I dated a Girl For 3 Years, The Best 3 Years Of My Life. We Had So Much in Common, She Broke Up With And 3 days Later She With Another Guy. I have been in a relationship ( If u can even call it that) the boy cheated a whole lot. But, I still stayed with him. I thought he loved me because he said it alot. But, saying it to me n actually meaning it is what I have to learn. He has a new girlfriend for 2 weeks now so yeah. He tried to hide it from me because he said he would never love again. be being me believed him. But he told me n I told him off today. I said i didn't wanna talk to him nomo. I wanna know if I am right for walking away. I dont think I will love for awhile because it only hurts worse to think I can love n be loved. Can someone help me understand why I get hurt n fall into these traps all the time!

I don't want to be too specific but the guy i like knows me, has hugged me, and always trys to make conversation with me. But he has a life and i don't want to interfere with that , but i think i love him.
he is very nice, and funny, smart and sophisticated. Another thing is that he is way older than me by 20 years. but i hope that doesn't get in the way with my feelings. i mean i don't think he loves me in that way but i think he knows i like him. i hope he does. should i still believe that i have a chance with him or should i just give up but still love him?
