Concentrate what you want to say to her and look at her. Hold her gaze for a few seconds longer than usual. Do this several times, for a couple of days. This takes courage but anyone can do it without the risk of getting embarassed.
She will get the message.

The advantage there is that the guy is expected to ask out the girl so you don't really have to ask anyone out. If you were a guy it would be a different story. And when i was in high school yea i really liked shy girls but then i was a painfully shy guy so i never acted on it. Good luck

As a mother, do not know your age or the girls age, but - how about a simple, asking her out for lunch, or for a walk in a park, stopping off for ice cream.....since it is Summer, and hot outside - Just ask her if she would like to take a walk in the park,stopping off for a coke, ice cream, or a iced coffee - See if she would be interested in going to the zoo with you, and take a picnic lunch - simple and you are around the animals, and who can resist a polar bear or the monkeys in a zoo - it will work out - look in the mirror - and practice it some if you need to - hey - don't laugh, my son did that - and he is still shy around girls, but he is 20. If this person hangs around with you in croud, maybe buy her a Pepsi -Coke or if you all hang around and go to a movie together, sit by her - and share your pop corn with her - Hey I am old school - what can I say - Just ideas - Good Luck

Eh, jot down your number and have a friend tell give it to her and let her know you are interested by a bit shy about it at the moment.

Don't tell her...at least not yet. Get to know her first. Don't know what to say? Talk to her about something that people normally wouldn't notice. For example, if she has clean shoes, compliment her and ask if they're new. Or maybe she has dirty shoes...tease her about them. If all else fails you can always mention the weather. lol. Chances are, she'll know you like her even if you don't tell her.

if your shy and she's shy.. throw in the gender card - be the man and take charge - just tell her, she's shy so she probably wont kick up a fuss if her feelings are not the same as yours.

JB,hmmm.....same here! i was shy so was my crush but i didnt let it bother me(at least not for a while) but all i can say is that,go up to her and tell her or write a note to her.anyone that does it best for you.mine was thru a note and it worked for me.i wish you all the best.

Ask her out to lunch somewhere so you get to know each other, and you won't be so shy and neither will she.
