Approximately two and a half years ago (give or take a couple of months), I met a wonderful man named James. He's a very close friend of mine. He's honest, sincere, trustworthy. He's the only man I've met in a very very long time that I believe I can trust. He has a great sense of humor. We flirt often, but nothing has ever come of it. He's kissed me three times, and I don't mean just a quick peck on the cheek or lips. Yet he's never expressed any true feelings of romance toward me. However, I fear that I am falling in love with him. I'm not sure what to do though. I want to tell him, but I'm afraid that he'll reject me, which in turn would make our friendship awkward. What should I do about this? Should I try to convince myself to get over him? If not, then what could I do to win his heart, without actually telling him how I feel? Any suggestions and advice would be so great right now.

I would say that if he has actually kissed you that he does have more than feelings of friendship for you. It sounds to me like he is unsure of you feel towards him. I think that you should talk to him about your feelings and take it from there. Don't worry about feeling akward, there are much worse things that could happen. I really think that he will appreciate your honesty. You'll never know how he feels unless you ask and get everything out in the open.

Honesty is the best policy

Share your feelings and if they are mutual great if not then you know your emotions are missplaed and you can keep looking. ( Just remember the good things James did that you enjoyed and keep those in mind with your future boyfriends.

Whatever you do, don't live a lie. If you truly feel as though you are in love with this guy tell him in some way, shape, or form. I myself have made the mistake of waiting too long to tell the guys i've loved this and it's led to me losing them.

its always better to speak up than to remain quiet and wonder. ask him directly ... if he refuses u still save on precious time in your life which can be utilized for doing something better than being with a stupid human who does not care for ur feelings ....

hv u checked out if he is into some other relationships?
