The conversation took place over the telephone. He was frustrated because his father is not caring for his mother who has developed Alzheimer's. He was trying to pack her clothes and was searching in her closet that apparently was in disarray. Neither of his parents keeps their home clean.
His comment was 'Now do you see why I am the way that I am?" He went on and on and on about how he was the way he was because of his upbringing and how is father this and his father that...
I have been listening to him for months state how since his father didn't do this or that, it has made him the way he. My comment to him was "You cannot continue to blame your father for your shortcomings. At some point in your life you have to take ownership of who you are as an adult."
I stated it very "matter-of-factly" and intended it as constructive criticism. He accused me of attacking him.

What do you think? Does is sound like an attack or constructive criticism.

I have just been let down by the 3rd person that I have loved, hurts like hell and I am starting to feel that I don't want to get into the same situation again where you offer your life to someone who gratefully accepts. Because I will always remember this feeling of utter complete emptiness.

How many times have you been let down and hurt deeply in the past?

I'm a very observant person who analyzes every aspect of a person's behavior. People are often surprised that I can tell so much about their background and what type of person they are without knowing them well. Now & then I'm blinded by physical attraction & need a lil help.

This guy I went out with last weekend used to be married to a girl I worked with. She was very abusive, as was his first wife & his luck w/women has been bad, but he's always seemed real nice. He's extremely quiet but as I soon found out, not shy. He doesn't like to be alone & is very giving & cuddly. I really like him & we ended up going out b/c our daughters are b/f.

Before I went home last weekend he asked me out for this weekend, & made plans to go to six flags next weekend. He also told me he would drive up & visit during the week.

His daughter lives w/me & she said he'd be up but he's not answering his phone and he's vanished. What is the reason he's avoiding me?

I just think it should be automatic, If you let us do it then it should be some repayment, though you didnt ask. Instead we get, "What kind of girl do you think I am, or thats discusting.

First off let me say i'm mixed, my moms mexican and my dad was black. If your a racist good for you but why do u people say go back to where you came from? that makes no sense. its obvious your talking about africa but ive never been and the majority of people of color have never been either. i came from my moms cutchie, & came out in california. i mean thats just so stupid, u dont see otheres telling white people go back to england. cause its stupid. it just makes no sense to me. I love people of all races and back round. it makes no sense to waste you life being angry and hating people just cause of what they look like!

Peice Love and Happiness to everyone...even the ones who hate!

What is that one thing or several things your date can do that will turn you off or just P!ss you off instantly?
It can be a physical act (Like picking their nose), a verbal comment (Like "You are not the worst dressed person out tonight, but your close") or a bad habit (Like not using deodorant). What ever it is please share it so those who read can be more aware of it.

We've liked eachother for a long time, but none of us has said anything. I mean we flirt with eachother and everything but nothing happens. He was going to ask me out (i didnt know) but somebody else did. I went out with the other guy for a while and then he broke up with me. Know the guy I like has a girlfriend! But he still flirts with me. Should I just let him go? What should I do?

My boyfriend and I have been together in a relationship for 7 months. At the beginning of our relationship, he asked me if I ever slept with a guy that he knows and work with. He originally asked me jokingly so I changed the subject and said we just talked on the phone and we never were intimate. 7 months later, the topic has come up again. This time he asked me directly and seriously. At first I lied and said I came close, but a few minutes later I admitted that we did sleep together. He became irrate and called me all kinds of names, made me feel lower than dirt (which is what I experienced anyway when I slept with the guy). I should have been honest up front, but I didn't want his perception of me to change and didnt want to hurt him especially since they work together. Now my boyfriend will barely talk to me, he doesn't trust me anymore eventhough I slept with the guy almost 3 years ago before my boyfriend and I ever thought about a relationship! What do I do?

There is this guy that has flirted with me and asked me out for the last year. I have been with some one until reacently. The guy is really good looking has a good job bla bla bla bla. The problem is he is not so nice to every one eles. I am the ast. mannager at a reasturant and I deal with most of our top clients, he is one of them. He is rude to the severes, leaving many of them in tears. He brings his cleints in and that is were get the balk of his business. He also brings dates there about two times a week. These girls are beautifull, and never the same. He pays very littel attention to them and they pay the bill. I really can't stand him, but I thought about going on a date just to give him a taste of his on medicine. Would that be worng??

I have been dating this girl and we both like each other very much. So i wanna ask her to be my gf. The question is.... should i ask her at the beginning of the date or at the end of the date? and why? im pretty much a direct person so i dont want to make this too long, but at the same time i dont mean to rush everything.
