my boyfrined and i have been together for over a year and i feel like now i am just holding him back from what he really can be. i love him so much and i was the world for him, and i know he loves me, but even though he loves me i think it is blinding him from his own passions and his own greatness. what should i do?

so there's this guy i REALLY REALLY like, he goes to a diff. school and i met him at drivers ed. lately i've been talking to him on the phone and he keeps wanting to hang out (this is the guy that i asked about b-cuz he never called me, and EVERYONE told me it was over and not to think about him... guess what i DID call him and he just lost my number!) i hope i get better advice this time!. the problem is my parents are WAY strict about EVERYTHING... and this guy's parents are not at ALL. he is allowed to drink whenever he wants, and even though he only has his learners permit, his parents let him go out and drive whenever with whoever. he wants me to come driving n hang out w/him, and he says just to tell my parents i am going with someone else (like one of my friends). but my parents are pretty much worse than the police... they always check up on me and i am scared to do anything wrong cuz they'll take away my cell phone or something, but i also don't wanna lose the guy..... help!

ok so yah i got a lil problem here. a few months ago, cuz of the net and yahoo msngr, i became good friends with this fellow who's a senior in my school. it was kinda wierd @ first but...then...we became close. well, when his friends found out, they thought that i had a little thing for him and started teasing the both of us. at that time, none of us liked each other. but, now, i think i have developed a little thing for him. i mean...it's like...whatever...he's cute...n very friendly...and i like him a lot!!!...the thing is that after his friends went mad in teasing the both of us...he has kinda been a lil distant 4om me even though we talk sometimes. now the thing is that...i dunno what he thinks of me cuz he could have easily stopped his friends 4om bugging me but hasn't...GOD...m going mad..!! Because of my position working at a language school for foreigners, my age and the fact students expect me, as a resident, already to have a social network I find very often students (mostly young adults, young ladies, at that) are shy of inviting me to join them. How can I let them know I'd like to included in their activities without "gate crashing?" I just want them to know I'm free, but I want them to decide or not if they ask me along and feel no pressure whatsoever. As I live alone and have no contacts here, this is rather important for me, as I hope one day to find my soulmate or just new friends.
