I've known my boyfriend for about 5 years now, and we tried dating before, but that didn't work out really well. Then, I had a crisis come up regarding my family, and he was there for me the whole time. Never left my side. We still didn't get together right after that. We continued to see each other and talk though. We officially started dating maybe 2 or 3 months after the crisis with my family had passed. I just found him to be really sweet. The best present that he ever gave me was a hand-crafted card. It wasn't store bought or anything. He had made this card himself. It wasn't a special occasion, it wasn't even my birthday. He just walked in one day, and gave me the card, and inside he had written " We got off to a rocky start, but I loved you all along, You brighten my days, and you filled my lonely heart." I still have that card to this day, sitting right next to my bed, and I look at it each and every night right before I close my eyes. That had to have been the BEST gift that I have ever received from him. I mean, I know it wasn't jewelry, and diamonds, and flowers, but to me, that card that he made meant more to me than any jewelry and diamonds ever could.

I have been with my fiancee for almost 2 years and we will be engaged for a year in sept.. The best present he gave is not my engaged ring, the cards, letters and flowers her gave me or my dolphin charm: The best present he has given me is his heart and soul but most true love because money can't buy you love or a heart and soul. Money and gives don't mean a thing to me the only thing that matter is that I have his heart and his love but most that really means more to me then any gift he could give me because I cherish he love.

Probably our house, we have been together over 4 1/2 years, & since I didn't have the credit & he did he got the house, it was a present to both of us :)

A lot of my ex's were cheap lol no.. I think the best gift my current bf gave me was him just coming to see me. Im not much a material person and I think priceless gifts are better than any material gift anyone could give.

this seems small but it was the thought. We were walking along and he saw someone selling flowers in a trolly and bought me 3 roses. It was so sweet and unexpected. I love the small things guys think of instead of needing diamonds and all that crap.

A scrap book of pictures of our days out complete with comments awwww! Been dating for 2 years, he gave me it at where we had our first date. Better than something bought, took time , effort and i still have it.

i went to australia and lived there for 5 months. my boyfriend--been together almost a year at the time--gave me 5 sealed envelopes to take with me, each with a date to be opened printed on the front so i would have something from him to open and look forward to. it was really romantic and i fell in love with him all over again when i received them.

i've been with my bf for 5 yrs...long distance..for our annniversary..he told me to meet him in a hotel in a certain room he wasn't there just on the phone...he had something sexy on the bed and told me to put it on and lie down with something over my eyes...he came in a gave me a long sexy kiss...instead of going out we hung out in the hotel room all day...believe it or not it was the best time...just hanging with him and having fun...oh and he did the red petals everywhere kind of thing...try it
