my boyfrined and i have been together for over a year and i feel like now i am just holding him back from what he really can be. i love him so much and i was the world for him, and i know he loves me, but even though he loves me i think it is blinding him from his own passions and his own greatness. what should i do?

If your really love him, you want what's best for him. Try being his friend so that you don't "hold him back" but you still have the option of getting back with him.

talk to him, let him know that the fact that u love him or he loves u doesnt mean he should move away from his own passions and his own greatness.

Move on to what you want and let him go for what he wants.Love only goes so far!! Dont the person being blamed later in life for not letting him get what he wants in life.

Even though it'll b painfull, yes i think you should break it off. Think about it like this: would you wan't to be held back? Even though you may love hime wouldn't you like to see all you can accomplish?
