I think having a crush is neither good or bad, it all depends on what you do with it. I "have a crush" on Kiera Knightley. It does no harm to do this. Now if I start stalking her, or put up a ton of pictures of her around my house, then it is unhealthy and bad.
A crush and puppy love is pretty much the same. When adults say that about a child, it is saying they "love" someone, but it is equal to the kind of love they have for a puppy.

Having a crush is good...and bad. It can be both truthfully. It can be good when you like someone and get to know them...then know them enough to ask them out and it goes well....but then it can backfire as well...or just leave you pinning away for the person.
Puppy love is when you care for someone when your young and think your in love, yet the feelings aren't strong enough to last. You never know when it is puppy love until it ends...and it doesn't kill you and you fall in love again. Puppy love is basically the training round to real true love. Not many people get it or have it. But everyone knows what it feels like to recieve it.

It all depends on who you're crushing on that determines if it's good or bad. Puppy love is infatuation. But usually since the person is new to love and inexperienced to what real love is vs. infatuation (some never learn) people call the emotion puppy love.

it can be BAD in the sense that u loose ur head when u r around the person n do crazzy stuff n is willing to do most of the things (even if its is wrong) that the person wants u to do n GOOD in the sense that it shows that u r human n have feelings n it gives u an experience of what others r feeling, u r not left out... if u r crushing on some1 take control, dont make it too obvious to the other person they can take control of u if u let them...
puppy love is love without meaning or infatuation...

Ok I think a crush is bad becasue it runs on feelings only. Puppy live is that physcal feeling you get for the first person you feel that for. It is not love. Most the poeple who come on here don't know what real love is and that it is so much more than a feeling. If you were ruled by your feelings you would be driven right into the ground.

To me having a crush is healthy and fun. You get to act like a little kid again. Puppy love is a sweet fun and kid-like love that only lasts for a limited amount of time because they have to eventually let the real world problems in.

Having a crush or puppy love (immature infatuation) is normal. But you need to be mature enough to realize that it is not the same thing as love.

Depends on so many different factors I couldn't say them all...does the girl like you? Does she have a boyfriend/spouse? Is she gay? Are you very shy? Be more specific. Puppy love is a tearm that is normally used to desrcide young love or infatuation. Kinda like "high school sweethearts."
