I think its quite obvious what "Yahoo Answers" if for. And it's not a dating service. This does not in any way mean that you won't find people who may have similar view points as yourself, who would make a good friend. I just think this site is not the proper setting for "hooking yourself up".

i dont think that the internet is a good way to get into a relationship because the person that you are "with" could be some perverted old man who wants to rape you!

wouldnt hurt to make some friends which is a relationship but my main purpose is to try and help others while helping myself.

there seems to be alot of people using the answers to find a date, which is sad.
