know that there was something you wanted to say or do for someone you loved and can no longer do it because they have passed away? my mother used to drink coffe every day ,all day long . she would add ice to it and it would just make me wonder why she would do this ,if coffee was "meant" to be hot when drinking.of course this was before iced coffee was introduced at mc d's,baskin robbins and so on. well i would have loved to taken her out for one of these,as she used to make her own by just adding the ice.anyone else out there feel the same about someone they never had a chance to say or do something for.? sorry this is such a long question,but helps to know if there are others out there the same as i.

I live in a small town out here in the southern rockies in northern new mexico. I moved from Dallas, TX to here two years ago.

I wanted to move here since I was a kid. Now I'm 25.
However, there are a lot of advantages. Some nice people, more trusting people, mostly 20-30 years older than me anyway.

Around my age, very few women. Most people my age or either on drugs or so religious they don't associate with others.
I drink on the weekends basically but am not into hard core drug users.

In Texas, there was a share of drugs here and there with people. However, here it is so prevelent it's unbelievable. If you do drugs, that's your business. I don't. It's one thing to try it now and then but any friends I've tried to make do them daily and hard.

It's almost made me think different about long term around here.

Anyone else in the same boat? Small town southern rockies or small town anywhere?

Ive known this girl since the beginning of the year. shes nice, sweet, caring and very focused on studies. through the months i can tell she only sees me as a friend, and she has made it clear

truth is, i dont have many friends that are girls. i tend to like girls EASILY, which of course happened with her, because she communicated with me so often. (no girl has ever been this nice to me -- in communication that is and overall)

what should i do? remain a friend? she is studying abroad and out of state college until 2009, she lives locally though so we've hung out 2 times but i know she only sees me as a friend. should i keep her like that and become better friends or will it be too hard for me?

ok, so i just started 8th grade, but at a different school then what i went to in 6th and 7th.
so theres a guy named thomas that i really like.
he talked to me on my first day and was really nice and he always glances at me during class.
im pretty sure he likes me at least a little bit.
but the problem is that when he talks to me it seems kind of like hes flirting but, im so shy and not very witty, i just cant think of anything to say back except for "yes" or "no".

I had talked to him at 3:30 and had not heard from him since then I was calling all night because I was worried and he has never done this, he gets home at 9:30 tells me his phone is dead and he has a car charger, and we have 3kids all of them were worried , he said he was at the shop at his job but he told me when i had talked to him earlier he was getting ready to leave to check on job about 30 minutes from where we lived and he told our friend he works with he was getting ready to come home help me please! For several years now, I've been living a second life. I go to BDSM events throughout the country and usually say that I am going to an Anime convention or something. I've told some of my trusted friends and of course my slave knows. I've even told my sister in case something happened, and I always have my cell phone.

My question is, my folks are opposed to it (from what I've gathered). I hate lying to them, but I think they would force me to see a shrink if I told them because they think it's wrong. Do they have a right to know what I do with my life? Or does the old addage still apply "what they don't know, won't hurt them"?

If you think I should, does anyone have any advice on how to break it to them?

If you think I shouldn't, does anyone have any advice on what I should tell them when I have bruises or the like?

This is a VERY personal issue for me, please help.

they told me maybe a weekend once in a while now it seems i am working every weekend unless i ask for it off. It is really screwing up my relationship with my boyfriend. He works during the day during the week and i work 2nd shift during the week and on the weekends sometimes. We dont get to spend hardly any time together and it is really starting to effect the relationship. I dont like not being able to spend time with him. So i dont know how to say well when you hired me you said i wasnt going to have to work weekends and then it was well once in a while and then every-other and now it is every weekend and i cant do it . Seriously, this girl acts like she hates me. But then she stares at me all the time, and pats my back. I guess she wants me to think that she hates me, but she does all that sh*t. One day, she just randomly came up to me and told me she was a virgin..wtf??? Today, I saw her at a pep rally, and she looked at me and kinda smiled, then licked her lips.

just started a new job, and this guy that works with me, works in another room, and when he passes by , he always looks in the room,(but I guess that might not really mean anything) and everytime he passes by he always come in and chit chats, and he'll ask me what I'm doing(even though there are two people in the room) and he'll sit in my desk, and look at my computer, and ask ME stuff about politics, and news..I mean it's very casual but he always asks me if I went to lunch yet, and today, me and another co -worker sit in the same room and while they were talking I started doing my own thing typing my other friend on the computer, and he stood behind me and kept hitting my chair...and I'm thinking why does he keep doing that, and then he asks me if I know of a good church, because he hasnt been to one...'s been herein the city for almost eight years ...I'm confused as to why he's playing dumb and being nosey..
