How old are you girls? If she is bi, she should embrace it. Though if you girls are in high school, I would not make it known. High school kids are very insulting to the "different". Give it time. It may just be a phase she is going through. Be supportive of her.

This happens to about one eighth of high school girls. It's just a phase they go through, often because a guy they like has rejected them or found another girl, or they haven't had a crush on a male for a while and think that that makes them lesbian, but they aren't attracted to a specific girl either so they consider themselves bi. Just teach her what the difference between love and friendship is, and show her that she can be as close as she wants with another girl with out being sexually attracted to her, and that there are plenty of guys that would love to go out with her, and that she'd be cutting herself off from them if she were to be bi.

The stupidest thing she can do is tell too many people. It invokes so much teasing, and girls have commit suicide or just changed schools or moved because of bullying over sexuality. Over time, it's likely she'll go back to being a heterosexual and like guys and go out with them a bit more. It's incredibly awkward being a close friend of a bisexual girl at times. -sigh-

being bi does not make her abnormal. it does however, broaden her horizons. she can play both sides, her choices are doubled. convince her that it is a blessing.

normal is overrated. Its not necessarily anything to be ashamed of, its just how it is.
