I have a 7 year old neice who has just been placed into a mental institution in Georgia by her stepmother while her father was away in Iraq. Her step mother says that she is severely disturbed, but I know otherwise. She has always been a very happy and fun loving little girl. Her mother lives in Ohio and has joint custody, and has been fighting with the step mother to get her back. Somebody please help me understand why a mental institution would admit a 7 year old with no prior mental health issues.

i have 7 children and cant take care of all of them financially and do not want them to suffer because of this. I recently lost my job and i am having a difficult time becoming employed, i have applied to over 75 jobs in the past 2 months. i have been to 4 interviews with no success, i am an educated individual, with customer service skills, currently attending college to receive my degree in criminal justice, the children all have the same father but we cant seem to make ends meet and we are below the poverty level and steadily dropping lower.

I always see movies where African American men are going crazy for white women. And in the song Golddigger Kanye West mentions something about leaving a black woman for a white woman. I've been with my boyfriend every day since the day we met (10 months ago) and we have been living together for 7 months. We want to marry but he said he wants to wait until he gets his U. S. Okay, I babysit this girl who is 11 years old. Her dad works the night shift, so she used to come to my house and sleep over when I watched her. I live with my parents and two 11 year old sisters, so the three of them would play together. Sometimes, she would borrow my sisters' clothing. Well, one time she borrowed this really cute white denim jacket from my one sister and never gave it back. On the last day of school, my sister saw her with the jacket on and other kids signing the back of the jacket. She was understandably upset but didn't say anything but came home and told my mom. My mom called the girl's dad and told him, but his english is very hard to understand and all it seemed that he said was oh shoot. When confronted the girl says it was her jacket not my sisters but her dad doesn't remember her having a jacket like that and he buys her clothes. So my mom has asked her numerous times to show her the jacket and she says its at her friend's house. What should we do about this?
