me and my bf are still new in our relationship and i love him and respect him very much. the thing is i'm not sure that it's really love and not just a consequence of him being a great guy (very lovable too), we've been close friends from before and i liked him and respected him very much then (still do), the thing is i'm afraid it's all just in my head

You want to know if you're in love with him? Sit down, concentrate, and imagine in detail that he leaves you, or that he's hit by a bus and killed: imagine life without him, with no possibility of getting him back. If you're devastated by the thought, if it makes you cry uncontrollably until you stop thinking about it, then you're in love. If it just upsets you, you just like him.

best thing to do is go out and have sex with 3 or 4 other guys , and see how u feel if u enjoy any of them more,,, if u do than its not love.
