It's impossible to answer this question yes or no, because sometimes it's better to work out your problems together, but other times it's best to set each other free. It all depends on the quality, health, and value of the current relationship and whether or not it's BEST to stay together. Only the two of you are in a position to determine that.

Yes, in EVERY possible scenario, reconciliation is better than starting a new relationship.

Why do people ask blanket questions like this? Do they not understand the answer depends on millions of variables specific to a given instance? No wonder most marriages fail!

Sounds to me like you are just scared to move on. If the relationship ended in the first place there had to be a reason. Think of why you were not together instead of why it is easier than starting over fresh.

I don't believe in going back.

Too much changes and theres so much growth during the hurt...

You can reconcile and say "I'm sorry"...but getting back together...you always have that ouchie there...that becomes an annoying bump just under the surface of your heart...

Start fresh with someone that understands and appreciates your perspectives. Learn by your mistakes...start fresh with someone who has grown as much as you.

i wish you much love and respect.

Usually not. After all, you broke up for a reason. Don't let fear of starting over or loneliness convince you that the person you once loved isn't so bad after all. Because they probably are so bad, after all.

it really depends on the problem, but usually fixing the mistake will better serve both your interests. besides, whether you break up or not, its always better to leave on good terms.

it depends on how major the problem was, if it was something trivial, go for it, if it was something major you would really have to think long and hard.
