I've been with my boyfriend every day since the day we met (10 months ago) and we have been living together for 7 months. We want to marry but he said he wants to wait until he gets his U. S. Citizenship. With everything happening with the new Senate discussions that could be years! How can I convince him otherwise? He's had his paperwork in limbo for 4 years already. I'm 30 and want to have a child with him before i'm too old. How can I convince him otherwise?

Don't pressure him. When he's ready for marriage it will happen. I can see where he is coming from. Maybe he wants to prove to you that he's not marrying you just to become an United States citizen. What are his feelings on having a child? 30 or so is not too old for you to be having children. Take a deep breath and relax. Enjoy your time together.
