Ok, I have a child who's father never comes around and he swears it's because he's still in love with me. I still love him yes, but I'm IN love with someone else. I don't think it is a good reason to not come around to see your child. I've tried talking to him about it and it just hurts him that he's not a part of our family. I would have liked things to work out between us but I don't tolerate cheating, lying, or drugs. My new guy treats me with respect. My ex says that he is just trying to get over me and that fact that we have a daughter makes it really hard. I do miss him being around for things. What would you do if you were me?

i have been with my bf for 19 yrs, we seperated a few times but now we are back together, and it's going better than ever.

My boyfriend and I were on a 3 week break...we were together before the break for a year and half...sex was great...we had alot of good times in the bedroom or wherever...it's been 4 days since the break ended....the first night he came over and we fooled around but no sex...and the next night we planned on some hot make-up sex...he came over but said we should wait for a while because he wasn't comfortable jumping right back into sex....so how long do you figure it will be before we have sex....keep in mind the only sex he's has been with his hand....and he said he does want me....but wants to wait till timing is better so we don't jump right back to it....any ideas???

My boyfriend and I went on a short 2 hour trip. It was myself, my boyfriend and his best friend Mark. The 3 of us went to visit his friend Steve and his wife Jay. Anyway, to make a long story short, my boyfriend and I got into an argument at Steve's house because i told my boyfriend that I wanted to head home a little early on Sunday because it was Father's Day and i wanted to take my dad out to eat. check out at the hotel is 12 pm which is fine with me. i only want to be home by 2 or 3 pm on sunday. Anyway, he got pissed at me cause he said that I'm putting him on schedule and I should not have gone on the trip if I wanted to spend sunday with my dad. So I was pissed when he said that so i said he shouldn't have invited me, because I told him several days ago that I wanted to be home by Sunday afternoon. Anyway, he said if I left he didn't care. So I left him and his friend there. Now they're stranded. Am I wrong for that or not?

My daughters father is not on her birth certificate, after 13 years can he get any type of custody?
He was in jail when I was pregnant with my daughter, he was in for 2 years. He does know she was born and saw her a few times in the first year after that he said to not bother him anymore, so I did not. Now, all of a sudden he wants to be in her life, after not bothering to even call or write or see her. I don't think he should have any rights. Can I consider it legal abandonment after 13 years? I mostly wanted to add to my previous question and say that I am from PA and he was in jail and he has never paid support or bothered to see her. I just want reassurance and peace of mind that he cannot get her. I am a fit, caring, loving mother, who does not use drugs and raised my kids alone all these years. I have worked hard to give them a great life and feel as though he has nothing to use against me.

I have had my heart broke by the love of my life. I am 43 and have never been married and I am a miserable mess. Parts of me have been ripped out of me and I have no interest in things that I have always been interested in. I think about her all the time and find myself fantasizing over what was good. I poured my heart, soul and life out to her yet I am not good enough and she will not explain statements she has made and avoids discussing things to which I deserve answers.
