One of my husbands cousins died and they did not like each other at all. The families are crazy and have been feuding for 18 years.
My husband is a good guy and pretty respectable and his cousin and her family are "white trash"... sorry but they are. I want to know if other people think it is wrong to not go to the funeral due to the fact that we have not been in their lives at all and my husband has not been in that side of the families lives for over 25 years.
We are getting alot of flack for saying we will not be attending the funeral. (His family are all feuding and we have managed to stay out of it) They treat funerals like a social function.
Bottom line... he doesn't like any of them except his grandmother and his parents. Is it bad... do you think if we don't go.
We are getting the major guilts from his mother. I know a funeral is to support the living but what if you don't like them...lol this sounds bad :-)

Im from spokane WA and my husband is from brewton AL. Weve been living in alabama for five years but I miss my family. He's not as close to his family but the weather is milder here and the prices are cheaper. He says its up to me but I know he really dosnt want to leave here. I dont know what to do.

I'm really mad at my boyfriend. Some girl texted my phone the other day claiming she's going with my man and asking me why my phone number is in his phone. Also I called him and left a voicemail on his answer machine basically asking him did he want to kick it with me today because I was off from work and he never called me back at all. Also i few times he told me he was going to come visit me on my lunch break but he turned out to be a no call no show.I'm really thinking about dumping him

Since i was younger this guy who lived down the street has teased me, i used to respond when i heard things he said but as i got older i started to ignore it and now every time we pass each other he barely says anything but he makes kinda stares if he sees me. I have only been with my girlfriend for about 3 months, but I love her to death. Her birthday is in August and I want to give her one then. We met at school but since we've both returned home (I live in Michigan, she lives in Minnesota) we haven't seen much of each other lately, though we still talked everyday. So what I want to know is...1) is it too early to give her one, 2) if it isn't too early, about how much should I spend, and 3) what type should I give her (solitaire, three stoned, ect.)?

I have heard that about half a weeks pay is about right for one, which for me would be around $200, but I would want to spend more on her. Also, she doesn't wear much jewelery, but I've been looking at rings and like the three-stoned ones. Are these ok for promise rings?

Good at academics but failed at trust.Met a girl from Calgary online,known her for 4 years.She never gave her contact info and I'd not asked for over a yr to avoid looking desperate.When I did ask, all I got was excuses.Second year,she got engaged and claimed that it was because of parental pressure(orthodox family) and never let me call or meet even once.I was torn apart for I really loved her but she left me shattered by going out with mom to buy an engagement ring for a man "chosen" by her parents whom even she "liked" but not loved in her words.still no contact info.Two months down the line,she came back crying on voice chat that the man she got engaged to was having an affair with another woman and the marriage plans had been shelved.Now she cries,regrets and wants to make up but hasn't let me call despite requests for she fears revenge n wants time to be open.I love her but I fear unreliability.Do I give her time or cut off?was so hurt tht I stayed away frm new relationships

okay......i am so not against my parents....when something happens....i want to give them a reason for what it happened...like when one night i forgot to do the dishes and they thought " that i forgot on purpose" and many cases like this have happened. Yeah really MANY cases. ....they also think I make my own rules and do things on my own way....but i try hard to follow their rules....And ive never been against them...but they think i am....im a guy: 14....help?
