The most important thing for me to teach my children is compassion. The greatest acheivment in life is to find fulfillment through caring and understanding. Yes, a means of self sustainment, a good education, and the like are all necesary in order to survive and to function in society. But the thing that seperates us from the rest of the animal kingdom is our ability to be unselfish. Every other life form will put his survival beyond anything else, people don't have to be that way.

I think the most important thing to teach children is to be open and accepting of all people regardless of race, gender, or their religious affiliation. As long as they live there life with this value set as a foundation they will be able to interact well in society. Children also need to taught the importance of self respect, with that will come there understanding of success with a higher education and hapiness within.

To live every day to the fullest, not to judge others, to help other people when you are in the position to, to do something you love, knowledge is empowering and you can learn so much from other people, to listen to your truth and to reach your potential again and again.

Just teach them what you can, and the rest will fall in place.

Kids today need to respect their elders more. Parents need to teach there children how to handle their reactions to other people who have diabilities better. You are right in what you also said too.

I think the most important thing to teach your child is self-respect. If they respect themselves, they can love themselves and therefore love others.

i think honesty ,,, no matter the consequence's..and to get a good job and to hold it a persons boss has to trust ,,so honesty there comes into play..and to be happy with yourself you have to be honest with yourself... and to live in society even your neighbors has to trust you to a certain extent .. but if they catch you in a lie then the trust wont be there...so every thing has to do with honesty and trust....
