I just dont get it... I see people standing together just talking for such long amounts of time. For some reason I just cant do it. I rarely find myself just sitting next to someone just talking. Why does mankind enjoy talking?

The other night my friend took me to a concert that was packed for days just to get into the place and I'd say for about 2 out of 3 hours she'd walk away on the phone. Do you think she was being rude to me by making me stand in like while she did whatever? I'm not jealous of her, I just think she uses me. Like she'd always talk to me whenever a guy wasn't involved in her life. She still talks to me but not as often and I guess I got spoiled by her talking to me all the time that when she stops I get really ticked off. I'm glad she's talking to a guy and I hope everything works out and I joke about how much time she spends talking to him but she plays it off like it's no big deal. Am I making tooo big a deal out of this ?? I help her make decisions over her and this guy and everything so why would I be jealous ?? I just feel used and only wanted when it's convenient for her. There's more but I don't have enough room on here to describe it all....Thanks for anyone who cares to help.

my brother is a restaurant owner. so he hired me and my best friend to work there. (his 22). i've been working there for nearly 8 months and my friend has been working for maybe 3. one day we were hanging out and went to IHOP. she told me that she liked my brother. (shes 17 going on 18). i don't mind hearing this from other people but just the thought of my bro and my best friend going out grosses me out :o am i worng to feel that way? i mean it would be cool if she was my sister-in-law but come on......yeeew!!!! plz post what u think. I received a subpoena to be a witness in a case against my ex boyfriend. The entire case is bogus. He brought phony charges against one of my friends who supported me during our breakup, and she in turn filed charges against him. The things he wrote about her were so petty that the state recommended mediation. They attended and her charges were disolved. His charges on the other hand had a warrant attached, and therefore were not as easily handled. The last time i spoke with her she said that she didn't wish to pursue the charges any further, but she couldn't handle it before the court date. Nothing really happened, and although he and i are on the outs and I currently have a protective order against him for something unrelated...I really don't wish to see him locked up for something that he didn't do. Should I consult legal help? What should I do in this situation?

he told me that the place where he's at is full of beautiful people. this is followed by, 'you should come too'. what does this mean? does this mean that i should go because there are beautiful people around; or i should go because he's considered me beautiful enough to join the people there? thanks!

ABout a month ago i was eating at this restraunt and these people kept looking at me and eventually i asked them how their day was, and they said fine, then the guy says, SHe thinks she knows you, I look at her and she says my name and I'm like yeah, I have no idea who this person is, THen she says her name and i went to high school with you,

After a few seconds i could remember her but i still cannot rememeber ever talking to her in the past, I graduated in 1997, Has anybody else had this kind of experience.

Today, some classmates were having a group studying section so I join them. They were asking each other questions and someone would answer it.

I didn't do my homework. So, some girl was saying statement about number 2 question. She said, "Inferrior to maxilla..." I didn't hear what she said before so my dumbazz self replied by saying, "Oh, my answer was inferrior to maxilla too." Opps, the question was "What is inferrior to maxilla?"

I am so stupid. I should've NOT join that group of conversation since I didn't study. ughhhh I hate myself for that embrassment.

How to recover from such an embrassment situation? I have to see them tomorrow?

long story short, my problem is, my (formerly best) friend thought i called my dear friend a homo. when i really said Lomo. now she is constantly calling her a homo! it really hurts me on the inside, and i dont know what to do. see, it is like your friend calling your other friend a homo infront of you and behind their back. i cant even get her to stop! what do i do? not being friends with her isnt an option.

My impulsive best friend is getting married within the year. I do not approve of the marriage, as she has only been dating the guy for a few months. She has a bad history with past relationships & has been married before. She never asked me to be in her wedding - she just assumed I would do it. I was reluctant to participate in the wedding because I did not want to pay for a dress, take time off work etc. Now, more details have been added to further turn me off - She told a friend of ours that I would be the maid of honor & I had better realize what my job is - she said to our friend that I "better realize what the job involves because she doesn't want to be bothered or stressed at all on her wedding day. I have to make sure everything thing is ok, and that if something does go wrong I better fix it, b/c she's not gonna be bothered with things on her wedding day. And I have to make sure there is enough entertainment going on, and that the food is warm and ok."

who thinks she is horrible in math( she had a tutor who quit on her and said she would never get into colledge and yah di yah di yah) and im pretty good at math (excuse my big head) and i try to help her and i like to help her but it is kinda annoying when she says things like im a failure i cant do it. i always tell her she is not. but shes always like im retarded and i tell her shes not. she does get them right but she wont listen to me!!!!!!!!!!

This past weekend I tried telling her that in her next relationship she should release a little control in the relationship and let him lead a little and do more for her. She's very head strong and she's a born leader. She got so angry and insulted me based on personal stuff I told her in the past. I was really hurt but we got over it.
