The other night my friend took me to a concert that was packed for days just to get into the place and I'd say for about 2 out of 3 hours she'd walk away on the phone. Do you think she was being rude to me by making me stand in like while she did whatever? I'm not jealous of her, I just think she uses me. Like she'd always talk to me whenever a guy wasn't involved in her life. She still talks to me but not as often and I guess I got spoiled by her talking to me all the time that when she stops I get really ticked off. I'm glad she's talking to a guy and I hope everything works out and I joke about how much time she spends talking to him but she plays it off like it's no big deal. Am I making tooo big a deal out of this ?? I help her make decisions over her and this guy and everything so why would I be jealous ?? I just feel used and only wanted when it's convenient for her. There's more but I don't have enough room on here to describe it all....Thanks for anyone who cares to help.

Honestly I've dragged my boyfriend everywhere my ex best friend wanted to go...You can even ask him, he hated it and I don't regret it because my friend and I lasted longer then him and I ever will. So I'd make him deal with her first and then me. To me that is the way it should be. I understand she's got a man and everything revolves around him but why should I be used as second best ?? I came before him, HELLO !?!?!?!

It is obvious you don't like the way you're treated now. Don't think you are jeaolus when you feel different than before due to her behavior. If you feel treated differently, it is because things are different now. Don't be afraid to speak up for yourself. If she does not accept how you feel, what do you need that friend for? She's probably using you for her nonbf time. Is this fair?

If you feel like she is using you then you should talk to her about it. maybe she just doesn't realize what she is doing. In any case if she is a real friend then she will understand and be willing to talk about it.Before getting overly angry talk about it with her there may very well be a good reason. As far as her talking on the phone I think that it was kind of rude to walk away like that, after all she was there with you. I can understand walking away to talk for a few minutes but not for two hours! She should have cut the conversation short or should have at least told you if it was important and she HAD to take the call. If nothing else it would have been nice of her to at least let you know it was going to take a while or check in on you while you waited. Again the best thing you can do is talk to her about it calmly, maybe she didn't realize how rude it was to make you stand alone for so long.

The same thing happened to me with my best freind...not the concert but she took me to a party of people she knew then spent the whole night on the phone with her internet lover. All these people thought that they were better than me so im felling pretty low while she don't care then when i said something to her she flipped out like i was just jealous. She's not my friend no more but not because of all that.

I do think your not making a big deal about it because if she's your friend then she shouldn't ignore you when a new guy comes in her life or leave you like she did and not apologize; I also think that you are going far as to be jealous. She may be your friend, but you don't have to depend on her; when she's not around, go find another friend to talk to

This is typical for someone to do when they are in a relationship. What would be even better is if you got in a relationship too. That way you wouldn't have time to think about your friend and if she is treating you badly.( just a thought!) I'd have to say that when I am in a relationship I tend to spend a lot of time with my guy and there always seems to be someone who is unhappy about getting less attention.

It sounds like you want your friend's total attention. She is entitled to divert her attention to the man in her life. You said she doesn 't dump you so you must still be in her life. Just back up a little and think about what you would do in her place. Stay friends unless something serious happens. After all, she took you to the concert.

Yes, you are being used you need to tell your friend hey I need some "us" time. It seems like we getting talking your phone rings then you forget about me. Or hey I know you like "Bobby" but just for tonight can we hang out and get a hamburger, I need you but if you only need me and you can't be my friend too. I'm sorry but I can be your friend. I feel that your ashamed of me, you walk away and leave me there by myself, I'm alone sometimes I think your talking about me behind my back and that's not fair. So either I'm your friend or not. Just remember I here.
**If you want to talk email me been there

Its normal to feel the way you do...I am sure her not giving you the usual attention she does isn't intentional...aquaintances will come and go but stay friends forever, its easier said than done...but hang in there and it will hold true for you.

She's rude - don't let her continue to use you. Get yourself some friends who just appreciate you.
