have you ever ran into somebody that you barely knew but remembered you like years later???

ABout a month ago i was eating at this restraunt and these people kept looking at me and eventually i asked them how their day was, and they said fine, then the guy says, SHe thinks she knows you, I look at her and she says my name and I'm like yeah, I have no idea who this person is, THen she says her name and i went to high school with you,

After a few seconds i could remember her but i still cannot rememeber ever talking to her in the past, I graduated in 1997, Has anybody else had this kind of experience.

yes...not long ago, actually......i was waiting for someone with my dog outside a convenience stor, and a guy comes up to pet my puppy, and he said "your name's Michelle, rigt"! i was so confused...it turned out i went to elementary school with this guy, i'm talking like grade 3.....he was never in any of my classes because he was a year older..........i did recognize him after a while, but i'm still confused how he remembered...i'm 25 now.....it was weird
