People often say, "The opposite of love is not Hate, but Indifference." Well, so what? Indifference does not hurt people, it just allows them to be hurt. It always ALLOWS...never DOES. So again, which would hurt you more, an Indifferent person who doesn't care, or a Hateful person who wants to hurt you? I ask this because the quote I typed up there carries an ambiguous message of these three basic human qualities.

before i start let me just let you know one thing: IM NOT A DORK! at my school i am not popular but i am also not a geek. anyway here is my question:
in 6th grade, i made these new friends who all went to the same school. I have had a pretty good relationship through 6th, 7th, and 8th grade with many of them. I flip between two emotions with them: 1. i am really friends with them and they really are friends with me and they dont find me annoying or anything (in other words they enjoy my company and i am true friends with them) and then when i start to really feel like that and believe it emotion 2 comes on (and they make me feel it): they all get together outside of school without me and have an excellent time. And they really are my true friends so please dont say they arnt! We have so much in common and i just want to stay friends and i want them to include me more! So do you have any ideas of how i can start to feel more included with them and have them treat me like a true friend?

It seems that every time i get rly close to someone, they either are forced into rehab we grow apart or I never have time to see her anymore because of different schoolsThis year i enrolled in a new school, not knowin anyone, and became RLY close with a girl Sally she had been through a lot and she felt as if she could trust me, and told me all of what she has been through, and i felt like i could trust her so i told her all i have been through (stuff i had nvr told ANYONE b4).A couple days ago she invited me to a concert of a band we both LOVE and said we even would get to meet the band! I was the happiest i had been in a long time,the day of the concert i woke up unable to move with terrible muscle cramps nausea unable to stand for more than 3 min w.out collapsing.Thinking i would get better,waited a couple of hours, and then called her to tell her the bad news.it turned out this concert was her bday party that she had been planning for a yr, and only invited me now noone can come

OK, I am in the 7th grade right now. I am moving in with my dad for 8th grade. I live in Wisconsin, but I will be moving to Tenessee. I am quite angry at my friend, when she said that she was interested in my guy friend whom I hung out with sometimes by the cafeteria. what should I do? I don't want them to get hurt, but on the other hand should I talk to her,or tell it to her face that she can go and tell him herself,but we should stop being friends? ok, i used to have a close group of friends i would usally hang out with in middle school , but when i went to high school , I lost touch with them , and now we completely ignore each other in the hallway.(because we are not in the same classes anymore) I would like to know how to make new friends , does anyone have any tips?

I have been hearing rumers about my friend sleeping with my fella, they have both lied to me and i have just discoverd it is true, i feel so hurt and cheated and i don't know what to do!

I went to the place where the person works and wanted to give him the candy, a gift, and a card for Valentine's day last week and he would not accept it. He said that it is inappropiate to give at a office. When I went back to the place later in the afternoon that day where the person works he took it out of his mailbox and put it on the floor next to the desk by the secretary. When I got there it was on the floor by the secretary's desk and that hurt me so much and upset me very much also.

i mentioned this once before but anyway, 2 years ago my "best" friend turned all my other friends against me. i made new friends and everything but i'm still depressed and i have no confidence after the incident and it took over my life. now, i'm always thinking about what people think of me, ALWAYS. she basically completely ruined my life. so, am i right to hate her and still be very angry? i know i shouldnt be angry but i cant help it. she never apologized or anything.
