my friend takes things waaay too seriously , he makes jokes against me and my friend like saying "oh ur fat hahahahha" and having a lagh , then l8er in the day we say something like " go back on ur bike" and he gets all mad and walks off ingorning us, even though he said things to us 1st .!! wot should we do , should we do the same and then talk to him and tell him how it feels , or should we just punch him? lol jk but seriously wot should i/we do ? (btw hes RLLY spoilt and rubs it in our face sometimes) and one time he lent me his pencil after i got him a muffin , and someone wanted to borrow the pencil and they took it when i wasent looking and then my frined (the spoilt one XD) got all thick and gave out, lol funny but stupid just over a pencil! (btw the person who took it gave it back in perfect condition /)

Alright, so I'm a freshman in college and so is the guy I'm crushing on...we met during our first semester b/c we had class together and became close friends now this semester we don't get to see each other as often, but we still run into each other. Anyways, I told this guy that I like him...and well he told me he wasnt looking for a gf @ that time...but now it seems like he's going out of his way to hang out with me and my friends during out lunch time. He's a really sweet guy and I hope he does like me back, but I don't know how to read the signs he's giving me...my friends say they know he likes me just by the way he acts...but I guess I'm just blind or something b/c I can't tell...so basically my question is how do I flirt without coming off too strongly and also how do I know if he likes me as much as I like him? if someone can please tell me this i would deeply appreciate it...thanks for reading and any advice you give : )

well lets see... I have my 3 yr. old neice living with me because her mother went to jail in June of last year "while I was there visiting my mother and other family" I live on the east of the united states and they live on west side of the united states"... anyway I have had my neice for nine months now and now all of the sudden her mother wants to come and get her in February....I am going back and forth about what to do or say about the situation. They live in a state that is very, very cold in the winter " most of the time it is always in the negatives",, they have no heat in the house, no firewood for the wood burning stove, no electricity, therefore no hot water, and her mother is always going out and staying out all night until the next morning leaving her 5 yr. old son that she has with her, wondering where his mother is all night and the next day until she decides to come home. since she has been out of jail she has been fired twice, and now no one in that town will hire her

I had a best friend till I went with a guy that she liked, before she had a boy. and now she's so jealous that she broke up with her boyfriend and started to be very ennoying to me and my boyfriend...

Just wondering if you had friends from different races or do you stick with your own? If you do are they close friends , i.e know your parents, slept in same room, etc. If not do you stay away from other races out of fear, mistrust, etc. (Interested to hear from Americans as I heard its very segregated)

Right now I have some friends but they are the type that will get me in trouble cuz they just bad. There are people that want to be my friend alot but I guess i kinda push them away cuz they older than me. Should they age matter? What can I do to make new friends? well yeah she was my bestfriend but til last year she got on my nerves. she wasnt a good friend anymore. she didnt tell me when the guy i used to like got with one of my friends. then she ditch me on my birthday to go to a party that i wasnt invited to. i was not gonna go if they invited me because it was the girlfriend of the guy i liked party. so then i just started to ignore her more and more. and the summer came and her mom called my mom saying that they were moving to texas. my supposebly bestfriend didnt call me. and i know that she is talking to people at school. she says that i was acting weird and all that stuff. well duh i had a lot of problems. and also she said that i didn't care so that is why she didnt tell me that she was going to move. tell me if i should talk to her?????

My childhood friend's 1 year of being sober is coming up and I would like to get her something special.She struggled with drug addiction for a few years and finally I got her into rehab on feb.24 2006 she has worked really hard to get her life back. I want to get her something really special so she knows that I care and that i'm proud of her.......Any ideas???? She is 27 married and has 2 kids.

i go to uni part time and there is a guy there who likes me. The thing is i am repulsed by him, i know that sounds unkind but he creeps me out big time. I'm the type of person who likes everyone- but he really tries me out!

I started talking to him because he gets stage fright and i was helping him with it-changing the way he thinks about why he goes on stage etc, and its gone on from there.

At first it was ok, we'd chat on msn about the course, and then he started to come on a bit too strong. i've told him quite bluntly that i am not interested in him, but he really lives in his own world.

In his world:

We are going to go on holiday together, we are going to see a show in london and we will be sharing a hotel room, i am going to become a famous actress and in turn will give him parts in movies and the delusional list goes on.

At no point have i encouraged him but now it's getting too much. i am almost at the point of telling him i am a lesbian just to get him off my back.

I know this questions is very vague but basically, the friends which I had in the past were not my real friends at all. They said many rude things to me to my face and behind my back, they did not respect me or my family and they were not there for me when I needed them. I have a few friends whom I can trust. How can you know for sure if someone is a good friend or not? Those girls I thought were my real friends, then 5 years later I learned otherwise.
