Friends - January 2007

Im living with some family friends (her,her son and brother), after searching for work in london. i found decent paying work in manchester after accepting an invite from them, i am now working and contributing to their bills as well as helping my own mum and familly back in london. A few months later, i found out they were living/working illegally and they asked me to use my name to help them get on the housing lader for a 3 bedroom home. And thats where my problems started: although i have not known them long, Im torn over what to do. on the one hand they have not done anything to me and have been kind in letting me into their home and i feel attached to her son so feel obliged to help, but on the other hand i've career ambitions of going home and living/working there and cant put my name down to something of such magnitude and just it leave it to them as this is irresponsible if something happens ie. fraud/debts etc. Am i being taken advantage of? I have strong moral/ethcical views

I have a friend he's a guy friend, im taken i have a boyfriend. i think he likes me which he admitted he thought i was good looking, but anyway. i saw his web page on myspace today and i decided to read one of his blogs and it was a beautiful poem or rhyme thing he did ,so i decided to message him to tell gim i thought it was nice and sweet and this is what he messaged me back with:

"call my cell....... (Blank)...... i said it on there...... so u can catch the flow ya feel me"


i want to know what exactlly what he ment by it, did
he write the poem for me to see?

my best friend of like 6 years, almost like my lil sister, had a baby a year ago (which i call my niece) and her and the baby's daddy weren't together up until a few weeks ago, and now that they are back together, she dont call anymore, hardly answers my calls. he took her away from me once, and we swore that wouldnt happen again, but she's very gullable and will fall into anyones trap. what do ya think i should do?

i had a close gf of nearly 12 years.knew her since high school.Got along well at that point of time but as time goes by,finding myself growing up mentally and emotionally and she's still stuck where she was!At 16,she was scared to even ask sales assistants for a new piece when she goes shopping or 2 even order frm Mc Donalds! We are in our mid 20s now.Aside from her being unconfident, very very blur person, dependant, child-like and undriven person, she is one of the nicest person i've known and she is a very genuine person who has a gd heart.But I simply cant deal with her at this age.It made me not respect her coz I believe a woman shd be confident and driven and smart.She has never had a bf or hardships so I dun talk much to her abt rship or real problems.Its like having a very lil sis!She s the sort who goes clubbing n in the last min realised she had only $10 or bring a digi cam for outing with a flat batt!Its silly!I exploded n told her off recently.she ended d fship.was i wrong?

i have this frnd,well kinda . we r 3 of us, we always used to be togther, but some 2months ago,i felt left alone,i felt that they'r carrying on without me,so i let them know my situation then we talked abt it and they agreed that they were ignoring me,even without realising that,or atleast one of them was,one of the other two started think that i'm not one of them ,so she started lying to me(but was honest with my other frnd)she will hysterical, when my other frnd tells the stuff she told her,to me,she won't talk to her for a while,then i'll go ncompromise and say,hiding and lying within frnds is not good,even though i was angry with her i consoled myself wen, she'd and apologise to me,it happened abt 4to5 times but i was patient,thought as a frnd i'd make her realise that she's wrong,but now i lost my temper n said i don't want to be frnds with her anymore,she 'scryin and was creaing sympathy,but i can't forgive her,eventhogh my frnds wnt me to forgive her but i don't wnto so ami bad

I've been looking for my boyfriends brother for years and I've had no luck. His name is Robert Chinn and he grew up in Baton Rouge/ Port Allen Lousisiana. I was really sad. She died at lacrosse pracice.her name was darcy. I am starting to think about other things that her. I don't want to do that. i don't cry anymore. the first day after we found out, was tues. They had an anouncement at school and everyone cried. Even people who thought she was a teachers pet, a geek, a dork, or just annoying. They had a crying room for us. There was food and candy. Cards to make. We could skip class and cry. After that i cried twice two diff. days at lunch. Now i'm not crying any more. I want to remember her more. Any ideas?

Since last semester they have been sporadically ignoring her for NO reason (i thought of everything possible), writing their names on their food items while using some of hers, having loud parties at night, going out as a group and leaving her home alone without so much as a word. She pays rent, part of the bills. There's 3 of them, they all follow each other like brainless idiots. I only ask b/c she's at wits end, I imagine getting lonely, I have no more advice for her, she cant move until graduation in May. They're so childlike when she asked whats going on they say nothing and look at her like she's crazy. Is there anyway you can think of to reach a bunch of childish followers with elementary mentality in college?

I have a crush on my best friend, but he's had a gf so I didn't do anything about it: just kept it inside & hoped it would go away. But he broke up w/ his gf about 8 months ago, so one day I came out & said that I liked him. He said he liked me too, but we decided that it would be best for us to just stay friends. I was fine w/ that. Then, we became closer than I’ve ever been w/ anyone & he became my best friend in the world. It was great! We were having so much fun. We told each other everything: including that he still liked both me & his ex. I still liked (maybe loved) him, but I just wanted him to be happy. Then winter break ended, & now we’re busy w/ classes, & we don’t see each other as much. But I found out that he has been getting together w/ his ex almost every night. Lastnight, we were at a party together & I overheard them talking & he said that she was the one he cared about. My heart broke. At that moment, I lost both my best friend & any hope of us being more than that.

not that i have one, a boyfriend i mean. i dont think i'll have any soon i mean i study in an all girls school and all my guy friends are friend-ish and its really sad coz our "batch night-out" is coming and most of my batchmates have dates. :))
