my best friend is leaving me she is going to U.S. I dont know what to do! should i make new friends?! let go of her?!?! dont make any friends?!

Best friends need not necessarily be together all the time. My best friend also stays in the US, and we are thousands of miles away. Yet we are close to one another.
We keep our friendship in order with emailing to update one another, and at times on the phone although we are some 12-13 hours apart.
At the same time, new friends also come your way and your circle is therefore enlarged,
