People talk to entertain themselfs at times.Try to be the biggier person and kindly change the subject if possible.If she's not able to date then what difference does it make any way.

Bring it to her attention you don't care to hear it, or change the subject, tell her your busy, and or cut her loose little by little she sounds annoying... If you care about her friendship, then understand she just wants attention, and learn to ignore her, don't worry about what she's going to be bragging about, get used to it if you stay friends...

If you were her friend, she wouldn't try to make herself seem better than you. Friends don't act that way towards each other. She probably has an inferiority complex to do what she does. You may want to find someone else to call your friend.
