Friends - January 2007

Me and my two friends have been really tight for the last 10 years. Well, my friend John didnt congratulate our friend Ron on the birth of his baby daughter. He sent a text message out to 21 people and John was the only one who didnt respond. Ron feels kinda hurt by this. No, he is hurt. Is my friend jealous cause he is unmarried and miserable? Its been 2 weeks and no congrats yet. No phone call, nothing. Is my friend a hater? He did this the last time he had a baby which was 2 years ago? Is he not a real friend? Should I just leave it alone?

I've never really had any friends and now I kinda have the chance to make some but I don't know how. is it possible that this is just because I'm inexperience? Is this common? Is there any way to catch up on 18 years of social interaction really quickly?

ok. my best freind has been really nasty. 1st she's told evreone some thing i didn't want her to tell any one. then she stoped talking to me because she dosent like one of my other freinds. if i dont spend all my time with her she just sudenly thinks i dont like her. and today i find out that she has been b****ing about me behind my back. i havent done any thing that could have upset her as far as i know. but normaly she tells me if i have so we can sort it out.
dose she hate me? or am i being stupid?

I have neighbors that moved beside me maybe 6 months ago. I have lived here a year and a half. They pretented to be our friends then when they got through bumming and stuff they started calling the cops everytime your dogs bark. Lieing and saying that we starve our dogs and stuff like that. And the cops saw that the dogs are well taking care of. So they left. But they bang on the walls and cuss and act stupid when the dogs bark. And they themselves listen to music so loud it seems like it is shaking our walls. What would you do?

My friend of 6 years has a daughter the same age(11) as mine. Our daughters have grown up together and were always friends until my daughter started attending the same school. She has ignored her, blatantly excluded her from parties, sleepovers and school functions its really sick. I tried to talk to my friend but she became defensive. Said my daughter is overly "sensitive". This child is an only child and very indulged. She can do no wrong in her mother's eyes. I've had it and I haven't spoken to my friend for months. We worked out together every day traveled with our families, spent holidays. She knows I'm very angry. I feel betrayed and can't talk to her about it.

i was around his house and we started holding hands and stuff and then we put our heads together and i bent my head slightly and we were staring into each others eyes and then he said something stupid and we both lauged and break apart! this happened a few times and i think i felt i wanted to kiss him and we even spoak about it and we both said that we wanted to kiss each other. but we didn't, this happened a while ago now, before xmas but we barely speak now and we kinda advoid each other which is awful because he is my best friend

Im 17 today and just recently life has been really bad, yes i know being a teenager is meant to be dificult but it doesnt help much, my two best friends are for diffrent unavoidable reasons, drifting away from me, most of my other friends left at the end of last year and im wondering what i should do to start again-any advice most welcome.

I had a friend she was one of my best friends..we did everything toghether we've known each other since preschool and once we got into 11th grade we both went to a new school..them a couple weeks went by and a new girl came to school well she wasnt new to us because we alredy knew her..then suddenly i moved cities but still went to the same school..things between us started changing between me and my so called best friend.. the new girl started coming between out friendship..anyways jumping forward the thing is that me and the new girl got into a physical fight and the thing is that our friendship ended! now everytime i cross them in the school halway they always make fun of me! sometimes i just want to say something but i dont! i dont know what to do! sometimes i just think they are just jelous but i just dont know what to do! they just piss me off!

.. that he / she is not a lover / spouse and only a friend. I sometimes really feel that such a statement ( the one above) is an insult on "friendship" to some extent. Don't you think so ? Well you see marriages break (quite often in the western world), lovers just forget each other after some sex and also ditch their lover/s sometimes. But some friendships last for one's lifetime...yes those I think are true friendships...thru thick & thin, which are hard to find these days !!! You see your family members and even your close relatives can be your good friend/s. My father has always been my friend besides being my loving dad. Yes all dads are not like that I know. I also know most things in life are relative. I hope I can get some good answers.

She got a razr, she told me right away.
she got clothes from hollister co, she called and told me how much they were, what they looked like, and if she got them from the clearence section. I asked all my pen pals, but they just gave me the corny answers.
I dont want to diss her because i like her. She is fun. I just want to give her an additude change. And everytime i do, she gets pissed off.
