i want our relationship to be over, but i don't want to loose his friendship is it possible to keep the friendship without the other. i value him in my life as a man

However he is not like his brother at all, he has no manners, calls her at all hours and expects her to go to his house or stay at ours after clubbing or the pub. He comes in to our front room and picks up the paper, feet on the table, no acknowledgement to us! I have tryed very hard to accept him, I have even cooked him meals and have no thank you. My daughter is horrible to me and her brothers and totally miserable lately, I know her and this is not her what do I do???

When i broke up with my boyfriend, the girl who was our friend decided to leave her boyfriend for my (ex)boyfriend.They didn't go out.they went on one date and kissed.We decided we couldnt be without eachother and got back together.The girl was upset but remained friends with us both.Then she started going out with me and my boyfriend's best friend.She dumped him after a few days but he was besotted and still is,so runs about it after her.She then started talking about me really nastily behind my back,rubbing it in how she sometimes went out with my boyfriend and friend.She denied saying it though i know she did.Now we aren't friends but we hang about in the same friend group.My best friend(the boy still chasing her)is having a birthday party tomorrow night and she will obviously be there with all her girlfriends who all ***** about me.He's invited me and i don't want to let him down but there is no way i want to go when she's there?

I got birthday cards and money from my grandparents whom I have not spoken with in a year due to a falling out with my father..They stopped talking to me and now I need to call them to thank them but does anyone have any ideas how to make this conversation a little less awkward?

If you're taking the kids/nephews/nieces/etc. to the beach, what do you do to get sand out of their trunks and booty's after?

I've seen moms actually take their kid by the shower pull from behind their trunks and just clean right their with their hands.

How do others handle this?

I am very involved with everything in my church and that means my youth group to. My youth group leaders are the two most nicest people I know and over the years they have gotten really close to me and I have came apart of their family and they have came apart of my family. They are married by the way. Anyways the husband is going through a battle right now and wants to take a break from the church and it is so hard to watch them go but i know that they have to and that it is the best thing for them to do. My friend wants me to lie to this job that she is applying for. She wrote up this letter of recommendation for herself and then she wants me to sign it saying that I wrote it. She is telling the person that is gonna be doing the Interview that I am her last boss and that I wrote this letter. Im not a dishonest person at all. She didn't even ask if I would sign it she just said, Come over right now and sign it. I don't know what to say because everytime I ever stand up to her, she gets all pissed off then doesn't talk to me for a year. What should I do? I don't want to play her little dishonest games. I'm a shy and soft-spoken person, but I'll sporadically open up to some people for a quick moment. Normally I'm VERY quiet but I will occasionally open up. I imagine that it is somewhat like what a snail does. I'll come out of my shell for a few minutes, then quickly go back in. When I do open up though, I find that I talk really fast and feel as if I'm rambling. Like today, I started talking to someone I'm usually very quiet around, which is probably a good thing because they actually heard me speak. But I realized that I was talking a mile a minute and I don't even know if what I said made sense. I'm wondering if I totally turned this person off or if I will now become an annoyance. I want to make more friends and open up to people, but I'm afraid of turning them off.

Is talking fast a common thing among shy people who try to open up? Why does this occur? Are people turned off because of it and do they find it annoying? Or will they get that it's b/c of shyness?

I was talking to my mom yesterday telling her how big my son has gotten, when he was born with really bad acid reflux he was only 5lbs 9.2ozs. and now he's 9mos. and 19lbs as a joke I call him giant baby and so do some of my friends. Her comment was " never know what was in that medicine you gave it could've been steriods" blah, blah, blah, I told her I don't care if posion was in the medicine that's not something I want to hear, he needed the medicine and now he's out grown it so let's move on. So I started talking about my friend babysitting for New Years Eve and she said those are your kids if you decide to kill 'em that's your business too. Those comments are really starting to get to me, all my life those are the kind of stupid empty things she's said to me and you wonder why I'm Bipolar hummmmmm.....Any who can any of you relate I just need to hear for the Q&A forum...........lol

well i'm >!!really really great friends!!< with this guy, same school n all. we talk everyday on msn but at school it's like we don't see each other at all!!! we've NEVER spoken at shcool and we've crossed paths heaps of times. but why doesn't he ever talk to me at school!!?? personally i want to say hi to him but when i go to say it i completely shut down.
