Yes it is possible.
There is a way to go about this without hurting his feelings. Just slowly start backing away without making it obvious. Don't do anything friends wouldn't do kissing, cuddling, etc. Don't hangout as much. Don't flirt, and slowly it will die off. Believe me.

I doubt it is possible this goes back to the whole women and men can't be friends question when you go there with a friend it totally changes the dynamic of the friendship even though you possibly didn't someone always catches feelings for the other person it may end the sexual hookup but the friendship won't ever be the same.

Tell him you are going through some female changes with your body, even if you are not. Then tell him that you can't have sex for a while until the doctor tell you everthing is okay. Until then let him know he can go out with other people because you are under doctor's care. You have to be convincing for this to work. If you do this right, you won't be having sex with him anymore, he will have moved on to someone else and you still have your friendship.

Well thats the thing with friends with benifits, they're great to have but in the end someone always gets attached. You should definately tell him that you wanna be just friends without messing around because if you don't you will make him get more attached. Now the thing is if he's attached to you now and you tell him you just wanna be friends there is a slight chance that you might lose him as a friend, but it's your choice, its better not to lie.

Talk, This is the only way. I'll bet it's going to be hard for the TWO of you not to have sex. You never know how somebody will take things until you put things on the table. Don't live a lie, let him know as soon as you can. It's always best to live in the truth. Good luck.

There is only one way to find out if you can keep the friendship, but drop the benefits -- tell him. There is no way you should keep sharing benefits if that's not what you want to do. You must be true to yourself ALWAYS!!!!

If you truly have established a "Real" friendship then the answer should be yes.
Whether or not he respects the decision... that's another question that will cost you more points! lol

Once you have given something of yourself to a guy, you are pass the lets be friends stage, you are lovers and even that doesn't make you friends. If he was your friend before the benifits then he was just using you, most men do. I know I did it for years.

Argh... probably a very difficult thing to do. That's the problem you've both created with your relationship. It's not all Seinfeld and Elaine.

This is tough and something he will not take lying down. Does he have feelings for you or has it been all about the sex?
It will be hard to be friends without thinking about screwing.
