Friends - November 2006

Does a friend have the right to make you feel guilty that they have to live in there car. Because she is already starting to lose my trust with me cause she owes me money and how do i tell that i don't want to come over to my parents house even tho i'm 30 years old and i rent from them she doesn't like to respect my views on things or anything what should i do i just hate talking to her on the phone i figure that i will text sometime in the mid morning that i will not be home when she gets off at work tommorrow at 4p.m. so she could make me feel guilty for her stay the night and have my parents feel sorry for here and she is a real bug a boo for real and no joke.

Im in college now, but I have a few friends from high school that were really close to me for 3 years straight and we do talk to once in awhile. Sometimes they act cold and distant almost as though they dont want to talk to me .. and other times they are as friendly as can be only when i tell them how much I miss them--they never say it first? There is one person in particular that I really do not get along with from high school and whenever we do talk they bring he/she up and how much time they spend together. These were people that I trusted whole-heartedly and suddenly they are acting very different why is this? why do people change so much after highschool and should I still consider these people close friends?

I've had a kind of very strict upbringing,and i have got a very few friends.I moved to a different country and don't seem to be able to get rid of "attitude" as my entourage call it,which makes it difficult to befriend people. Did anyone go through that situaton or is going through? have you got some tips on how to look friendly? i have to add the fact that i'm a bit shy.

My friend and her boyfriend are always all over eachother, and everything. i will hang out with her in school her boyfriend will be there or like at a party. This girl, I know her through my dad's cousin. My dad is related to my uncle, beacuse they're cousins. So, his kids would be my SECOND cousins. Then, the girl, is related to those same second cousins of mine through thier moms side. So, this puts her as of no relation to me. Anyways, I think she likes me. She, laughs at all the stupid stuff I do, somehow all of her friends know me. Anyways, it's weird because we're cousins with the same people, so it kind of seems she is my cousin, too. Although, really, she's a family friend but still comes to all family parties, etc. One night she stayed over and I was like "Hey, did you know..." and, I didn't finish the sentence, and she comes out of no where and says "...what? that our parents would joke around when we were younger and say, 'we should get these two married?' I was like, "WOAH, how did she guess that" in my head. Then she is like "I don't think about that, I think of you as a cousin." But, I think she tried avoiding the subject HELP

He puts way too much emotional crap on me. (He's not my boyfriend, I think he may be gay actually) He's very feminine and loves to gossip, spread rummers, be a brat...that sort of thing. He is also very insecure about "who" he is, though he's in denial about it (by "who" I'm not referring to sexuality preference). He just complains and complains to me about everything and when I (with a nice tone) ask him to stop, calm down & to stop being so mean to me, he just yells at me saying how I'm such a bad friend! He never let's me get a word in...

So, after graduating from college, I studied abroad for a year, then moved back in with my parents and found a job after coming home to the US. I am finding life to be insanely lonely... most of my high school and college friends have scattered, so there's nobody close to home to really hang out with. All of my coworkers are living on their own now, so I feel immature and out of place in relation to them. What can I do to meet new friends, aside from going to a bar or a club?

Why is it that people say they are your friend and always will be there for you then stop talking to you like you don't matter and they don't care, then when you call them on it they say they care and you have to beileve them cus they are supposed to be your friend ??
I always have people doing that to me . They pretend to be a friend then act like I don't matter. Is it me ? am I to gullable? or do you think they are taking advantage cus I'm such a nice guy and they know I won't do anything to stand up for myself..??
