I always have people doing that to me . They pretend to be a friend then act like I don't matter. Is it me ? am I to gullable? or do you think they are taking advantage cus I'm such a nice guy and they know I won't do anything to stand up for myself..??
I need advice please help..please.

i feel the same way sometimes. i think some people call others friends just because they want friends, they're desperate for them. like me and my friend. every night she complains to me after her boyfriend leaves that she is so f-ing horny, and i sit there and listen. why? because i want to be a good friend to her. and when she's complaining about something for the 10000th time, i listen and i tell her what she wants to hear, why? because i want to be a good friend.
but then i want to vent about something, she just tells me i'm being emo and that i should stop it. the conversation usually ends after 5 minutes. i think i've tried to talk about it with her twice. i don't think i'll try again.
from what i understand, this is what you're talking about, correct? i understand that feeling so so well. it makes you feel like you don't mean the same thing to them that they do to you. i don't have any advice for you, but i do wish you the best. you're being too nice. you don't have to sit there and take it. i gotta go, but best of luck to you. write me if you wish. it's in my profile

Yes, yes and yes. There are few good friends but when you find one you'll know it. They won't treat you like garbage, talk behind your back or stab it. Unfortunately, you have to go through a lot of crumbs to get to the icing. But, just because these people are not good enough to be your true friends you can still go out and have fun with them...just know them for what they are. Don't be a pushover for them and do not unload your problems on them. Remember the animal movies where the meakest animal gets less food and gets picked on? Humans are no different. It is a shame but a cold fact.

Honey,
Your sentence...." you won't do anything to stand up for myself"
You must be a gentleman, that really goes out and helps people.
Now, You and I know, you have to put yourself first.
Why can not you put yourself first? WHY Not...your are living your life,
only you....You are first......without you.....than what?
Advantage......yes. some of do...they are not real friends.
I had a serious auto accident, and received a money....goodness, grace,
all my so called friends came out of the wood work.......
To ask for money........................I was gullible....
I was thankful for the five real ones.......
Let your brain, think before you heart.
God Bless you......You are a OK

They say they are your friend and will always be there for you because THEY think of THEMSELVES and sincere and compassionate.

But they are not. They don't know how shallow they are. When they stop talking to you, they have forgotten their promise and forgotten you. If you remind them, they will say that they "care," but they are secretly irked that you have a good memory and spotted their standard careless phoniness.

I doudbt they are doing this to you because they find you gullible -- this sounds like they way they treat everyone.

These are fair weather friends, always around when things are rosey, and when they can benefit from a friendship with you. These people are actually using you. The first time you need them, they bail out on you. Everyone who has ever lived ran into people like this in their lives.

I say ditch them, they aren't true friends, they are taking advantage over you and just trying to see how far they can get with you before you snap... ditch them!

my opinion is that they want you have what you got or they are just using you!! just make sure that it's someone you can trust and someone that can relate to you and not just someone thay can push around or take advantage of!!! Just be careful and choose wisely as they come and go!! GOOD LUCK!!!

i know how you feel, but dont blame yourself for it.tell that person one last time how you feel and if that person continues doing the same thing, find another and move on b/c obviously that person isnt paying enough attention to your relationship to be in it.

They are not real friends.but so called friends.A real friend dont show any time that he/she is taking care of you.A real friend does not speak but shows this by actions.
