Friends - October 2006

Okay. So my best friend started going out with this guy that's one year older than us. He used to go to our school and was such a fag, but left. So we didn't like him since when he first came, but she hung out with him one day and all of a sudden they became a couple. I mean, no offense, but desperate much? Seriously, the guy was such a ***** to everyone, and now she suddently goes out with him and tells me how much of a good guy he is? She told me that he told her that she was hot, and she said that she liked him, and that's what happened.

Anyways, so I want to tell her and confront her.
But she's acting all depressed and starts pmsing all of a sudden.
What do I do? It's really bugging me and I don't want her to get hurt. And she started to smoke pot with him, when she KNOWS i can't stand it and I've already talked to her about it cause it's happened before. She's clearly putting her friends after the guy. Even my other BFF doesn't like him, but she told us that she didn't care.

Well there's a lot of guys in school that have been making me laugh and stuff one even told me they like me.....some say jokes,coment on me and stuff and they don't act the usual way.......i really don't know cuz i'm confused and some of my friends say they do but i think some don't.

I have a friend that says her feelings for all her friends are equal. I don't get that. I feel very differently and very unequally about each of my friendships. Some of my friends are better friends than some of my other friends and as a result they hold more value for me. Am I the one who is strange? or is it this friend that puts everyone on equal ground regardless of how good of friend they are.

My friend slipped me a note when i was at my locker at the end of today. It said she was going to commit suicide. She ran away before i could catch her and plus i had to get to my bus before it drove off without me. When i showed all my other friends they were concerned. But how do I stop her from doing it? She doesn't live by me, and i don't have her phone number. Should i call my other friend so she can call my troubled friend? My friend told me not to show the note to anyone but suicide is a serious matter, right?

my bff was talking about me behind my back 2 my friend and she called me all types of dirty names. we go to the same school we don't talk anymore but im kind of hurt by her betrayal. what should i do? i try to ignore her but i ave 2 see her everyday in 7th per. sometimes she makes me want 2 check out but thats just running away from my problems.....oh yea im using her address to go the school im attending but i never thought we would stop getting long, i know its bad but im starting to hate her with a passion, i don't want to but i just do. When stress hits me, it hits me very hard. I have constant panic attacks, and generally have issues getting stuff done. I find that the best way for me to deal with all of this is to vent to the people I care about.

Unfortunately, I feel that I may have gone a bit overboard in this last bout of stress. I feel like maybe I've weirded out some people with my complaints, and still don't feel better about my situation. In the next week, my senior project is due. In the next month, I'll be taking the GREs. This is all while completing tons of assignments and trying to get comfortable in a relationship that's deeper then I've ever been in.

How can I get by these times without freaking everybody out? I just need to be able to deal with this by myself. I hate feeling like I need people to get through things. I know I can do it on my own, but I'm not sure how.

For the last few years I have been friends with "Sue" She is quite a bit younger, my kids are teenagers her kids are just starting school. I thought we had a really good relationship, had a lot of fun and our husbands got along well with each other. We both have our issues but thats part of life. She hates to have people give her advice so I was careful not to do that, although she had no problem giving me advice. A few months ago I could tell she was mad at me, so I left her alone for a few days, then called to work it out. She went nuts on me! Started yelling and telling me what a horrible person I am. Couldn't figure out why she was mad a me. Told her to call me back when she calmed down. She called back later and left a very abusive message in my voice mail and two days later recieved a letter detaling all my "faults" I am not perfect, but she was way off.Told me she was only my friend to help me change my life and to call when I wanted her help again. Would you call?
