When stress hits me, it hits me very hard. I have constant panic attacks, and generally have issues getting stuff done. I find that the best way for me to deal with all of this is to vent to the people I care about.

Unfortunately, I feel that I may have gone a bit overboard in this last bout of stress. I feel like maybe I've weirded out some people with my complaints, and still don't feel better about my situation. In the next week, my senior project is due. In the next month, I'll be taking the GREs. This is all while completing tons of assignments and trying to get comfortable in a relationship that's deeper then I've ever been in.

How can I get by these times without freaking everybody out? I just need to be able to deal with this by myself. I hate feeling like I need people to get through things. I know I can do it on my own, but I'm not sure how.

I don't know of many people who like to be around people who complain, whine, or are always fearful... remind yourself that if what you are worrying about doesn't harm you in anyway... it's not worth the energy to worry about it. If you're not going to die from it... what's the worst that can happen.. we all live through times of stress and are stronger for it.

We [ none of us ] can get smoothly through life without relying on God. He is our Heavenly Father, the Creator, the Comforter, the Prince of Peace.

We are raised to be self sufficient, independent, perfect decision makers, a rock - an island.

But we can't be that way, at least, not all of the time. We depend on each other, but even those we love and who love us let us down. God is different. Because He is perfect, He has perfect love, and accepts you as you are - no strings attached. All God ever wanted from us all along was intimacy with Him. He made the Garden for us to be one with Him in a perfect world. But He also gave us free will - and, being imperfect, we elected to not lean on Him, trust Him in our daily lives.

See if there is a Christian Youth group there at your school with whom you can counsel. Or find a good Church with a youth group that has a youth pastor/minister you can talk to.

You can't carry this load all by yourself. No one can, or we just fall apart. Life is tough, it's not easy, and it has no easy choices.

Please see someone who will gently help you shoulder your burdens, help you keep focused, be a great listener, and willing to take some time to offer you guidance in getting over some of these rough patches in life.

My best to you !

I hate to sound like a crass *****, but it sounds like you obviously *can't* handle it on your own. Even if you're afraid of coming off as a freak, lean on those closest to you, if you can't muster the testicular fortitude to seek out a licensed therapist/counselor of some sort.

If you're having full blown panic attacks, you're not having normal stress responses. If not addressed, they could even could worse, some people have debilitating panic attacks that keep them from functioning in the world. They're almost as bad as paranoid schizophrenics. See someone and get yourself diagnosed.

for one take your mind of all that and try putting it all to a side .i think you should do these things, they sure worked for me like try taking a vacation where you can go skydiving, bungee jumping, cliff hanging, or maybe even try meditating yeah! like YOGA! ever thought of walks on the beach, it sure feels refreshing.if it helps scream as loud as you can and till you cant anymore and wala! stress free.( been there, done that, over it , of course it will come back every once in a while but guess what it sure feels good after , aahhh what a relief)
