I just got a boyfriend today, and I am soooo happy about it. But I was too afraid to tell my friend Alycea cause she always makes fun of me. I've asked her why she has to do that, but she denies it. I just can't trust her! What shoulod I do?!?

Alycea makes fun of you because she is either jealous of you deep down or really does not like herself much. People who are constantly picking on other people tend to not like who they are and they pick on you to make themselves look good.
If you have spoken to her about this and she is not taking it seriously, well, that is a serious problem. Human dignity is VERY important and when someone demeans you, even in a joking manner, it takes away from your dignity. Especially if it is someone you care about. The more you hear those negative comments, the more you will start to believe them. Negative comments from someone who you care about can be very damaging.
If you can’t trust her to hold her tongue around someone you are into, then don’t take her around that person. I will also add, if you can’t trust her enough to share your exciting news with her, you might need to start looking into distancing yourself from her. She is not a true friend if you can’t trust her. Friendship and trust goes hand in hand. On another note, you go girlfriend! I hope this new guys is an awesome catch for you! :)

Find a new best friend ;o) She sounds like she's a little jealous of you and that's probably why she does this. But that's not how a best friend should be to you.

u can't call her friend even best friend..she's a jerk...burn her!!really i tell u this from experience..she just want to show that between u and her she's better...and if ur bf likes u as u r he won't mind of what that b*i*t*c*h says...

You need to re-examine who you are calling a "friend".
