My friend slipped me a note when i was at my locker at the end of today. It said she was going to commit suicide. She ran away before i could catch her and plus i had to get to my bus before it drove off without me. When i showed all my other friends they were concerned. But how do I stop her from doing it? She doesn't live by me, and i don't have her phone number. Should i call my other friend so she can call my troubled friend? My friend told me not to show the note to anyone but suicide is a serious matter, right?

You should tell someone right away. The friend would be good. If someone close to her talks to her before she tries to hurt herslef, it can make the world of a difference. Also, let this girl know how how you feel about what she is going to do to herself.

Tell your parents about the note. Take it to the police. Her asking you not to show anyone is a cry for help. Something is wrong, and she needs more help than you and your friends can offer her. Don't take the note as a joke. Act on it. Get adults involved.

Sweetie, you need to call the police so that they can contact her parents about this. This is more important than calling your friend to have your friend call. Please don't waste another minute as your friend needs your help! Don't regret not calling, call now please. God Bless you both!

sorry to hear that she wants to comiit suicide but you HAVE to tell somebody! find out where she lives and go over there! if you really are her friend you have to stop her!!if you dont stop her then itll be like your doing to her. YOU HAVE TO STOP HER ANYWAY YOU CAN!!go to the police if you have to.

Well that is just stupid now isnt it...tell an adult, RIGHT NOW. Maybe she just wants attention, but then you never know.
She is too young to die, and she is very very ignorant.
She doesnt know wat death is, i do.
