Friends - October 2006

My colleague (a married girl) and I have been good friends for the last 6 months. We like each other but ever since I gave her a gift for her birthday (dinner coupon) she has been upset saying it was inappropriate and things have gotten worse with her giving the gift to another colleague of ours (I was upset as that insulted me) and she's avoiding me and not interacting with me as before.

When confronted with what the reason was she skips it and insulted me by asking me to seek a prostitute to loosen up and says things like "guys have the balls to let go a girl if she doesnt talk to him". I dont want to lose her friendship though i realise its gone. Any suggestions.

ok do u think this very fair to me? I am always such a nice person and always fill in when I need to for my friends that I work with. Sure thier nice and say they will work for me and then in a couple days they have lame *** excuses so they cant work for me I just dont think its fair do u?

I have a friend at work and him and I get along great. We hang out outside of work and him and I are always laughing and having a great time. I'll admit hes really good looking, but it doesnt go any further than that. He has a girlfriend, I have a boyfriend. Do you think its possible for two people of the opposite sex to be friends without feelings interfering? I often wonder how he feels about me at times, because I'd never wanna jeopardize our friendship.

My friends as very long nails and she always is scratching me a leaves marks on me.( until i bleed)I have shorter nails and I do it back but she just has a little nail marks.I no its childish but is buggin the crap out of me!! the thing is COUPLE of weeks ago this guy asked me out and well i said lets just b friends and he didnt want that so we stoped talkin and now im starting 2 think i like him!

I don't have a problem with gay/bi people. I just don't want to ever become one. My friends practically hate me now. They asked wat my opinion was on gay/bi people. Don't u think I have a right to say that I'm not going to become one? I never said I disliked the people. I just said I won't follow their lifestyle. I don't think they should hate me that's all.

i have this one friend who, whenever we plan to do stuff, she always stands me up. we always have a good time when we're together...but then every once in a while, we'll be planning to do something, and then right before we go to do it she'll be like 'i'm sooooorrry, but my other friends invited me to do this other thing'. i think she has a problem saying no to people, but when it comes to her other friends versus me, she always picks them!

we always have fun when we're together (whenever we do actually do stuff), so i don't understand why she stands me up sometimes!

like now, for instance. earlier this week we had planned to go out to dinner tonight, but i called her today and she never called me back! so i guess we're not going to dinner....why does she do this???

hey ppl,
i know this girl from my first year in university... and i know him from the second.. i interduce them to each other... and then i regret that... couse i start to love here... and he was 2, he told her and win... I don't know the reason that made me weak to not tell him or her that i loove she.!!
then i start to decrease my relation with her, and after that they had been broken there relation.. i saw her and we are so closed friends to each other now.. he know that but still don't know what i feel about her. she either i don't know if she knows?
should i tell her or him ??

I think I am in love with my best friend! But very complicated - he was an illegal immigrant (I don't want a debate about that - he is fully legal now and full tax-payer) whom my parents would never approve of, he is in an arranged marriage, which was mutual for visa reasons but wife has turned possessive and he has to stay with her for another year. I thinks he loves me too, but If he weren't with her, I don't think I could be with him, we live in different worlds, but we seem to live for eachother and behave as if in relationship in all aspects except from sex, which for two pence I think would change. I can't imagine being without him as a friend or otherwise, but how do I move on with my life?

I consider myself to be quiet and I don't talk much but I'm always nice to people. Do you think people like or dislike people like that? today was weird my friend found a medium sized picture of herself on the floor so she picked it up. we wer passing it arround and someone reached over someone to pass it so it was in the air and the picture was facing down toward us and they back was facing toward the light. then she my other friend noticed that it looked like there was blood on her in that picture. so we all stood there and held it up in the light and it looked like she had blood running out her nose down her cheecks her whole face and arms.but you could on see it in the light it was really creepy.what are your thoughts and has anything creeepy happend to you lately?

In 3rd grade, when I first saw this boy, I just started loving him. I don't know why.

And now, 3 years later, I still love him! He's a great friend of mine, too! And get this: He's not even cool...he's unliked by a lot of people, just because he goofs around too much(just like me.) Every online quiz, like on Bratz or Barbie .com or something, says we're perfect for each other.

i don't have many real friends, but I talk to people throughout the day. My style of humor is kind of sying a few funny things, but i sometimes say weird things, that are funny and a little gay sometimes, but nobody seems to get the joke. They always just say "Are you gay?" kind of seriously. I try not to say those things, but sometimes they just come to me and because people laugh, i just keep doing it. What do I do? I'm 13 and I have some great friends at school. I get on with them and everythin, but I don't feel as close to them as you should feel with a best friends. I would not be able to say which ones of them I am closest to but there is noone that I feel 100% close to. Am I expecting too much from a friend or what. I just feel that I need someone that I can always depend on and can be my complete self around. One of my best friends is always remending me about my uncle David in Demolition Derbys. He does good, but when he looses a tire she laufed. It gets on my nerves! ok. my best friend has a younger sister. i am at their house pretty much everyday. She is 12 and her sister is 10. They are like sisters too me. Well in April my friend was spenfing the night at my house and when her mom and little sister came to pick her up the little sister died. It was so sad and I feel so bad that it happened at my house.
