Oh, maybe because he can, he's not that thrilled with seeing you (to state the obvious), he doesn't care about you, he's using something that addles his brain so that he forgets.
My question back for you is why do you continue to give him an opportunity to disrespect you? We teach people how to treat us and he's been taught to mistreat you. What are you getting out of the deal?

Personally, I wouldn't do this, I guess he's too much of a coward to tell the truth. Why would you keep going back for more if he treats you like this?

Real friends don't treat friends like that bail out on him and find you a new friend that you can trust and he will respect you and your plans.

A lot of times it's because we've lost interest or we've been to busy and forgot the situation (happens to me a lot)...not sayin it applies to everyone, but im sure it does to quite a few
