Okay so i have a best friend. and about a month ago she started ignoring me at school and only talking to me at night on the phone, so i started ignoring her, which i shouldnt have done but i dont like fighting with people in public or anywhere for that matter. Anyhow, she started hanging out with me again but at ball games she NEVER talks to me and somehow she says i dont talk to her, but how could i i mean she sits with people she knows i dont fit in with for a guy whom she likes i would never do that, and so this week i was like i am not going to the ball game. This afternoon i was mean but i thought she deserved it after all she had done to me except to day it was like i was the mean one, but i'm shy and sweet and quiet, and i was trying to prove a point to her that i was not a pushover, anyhow she couldnt go to the game unless someone went w/ her, and i refused, so until like 7 she was pissed, and left this mean msg on my phone, and then i call to say sory and she @ was @ the game

I'm not exactly what people would call popular. But, dont take that wrong im not a loser/geek (sort of). I need to know how to be popular. Will me being smart (im in double advanced classes but i dont brag about that) affect how popular i could? how can i stop being shy and start making more friends and possible become popular?

My best friends father is terminally ill with cancer. I went to visit him today. He worked with may late father for over 26 years. His daughter and I became friends at an early age. She is the strong one, always picking me up. I have to be the strong one now. He looked so unbelievably horrible. Cancer is such a painful long death. I didn't even recognize him. He was not that coherent. He talked a lot about my dad when he was coherent. I am going back to visit him Tuesday. When I got home today I just cried and cried. My friend has a special needs child, she lost her mom 8 years ago and then her brother two years after that. I could not believe how Cancer can just destroy your entire body. I was just floored. How can I not cry or let this eat me up inside? How? Life isn't fair but should it be so cruel? My only solice is that he will be with my dad, & his late wife. I know where ever they are is a good place. It's the people they leave behind.

I have many friends, but often feel like an outcast when I'm with a large group of them. I prefer to do things on my own or with my family, and it seems that when my friends want to get together, it interfers with what I have already planned. My friends then get annoyed because I can't make it, or I can't stay all night. Am I an outcast, or does this happen in everyone's relationships? I'm curious if anyone else feels this way?

I am a girl 14/15 yrs old. Well I like my best friend. He is 16/18 yrs old. I really really like him. He has a girl friend but he filrts with me everyday. I have a friend who just broke up with her boyfriend,and 4 about a month we were making vows 2 eachothjer that we will be singls 4 the school year.2 months later,tells me that she's going 2 the movies wikth this guy "JUST AS FRIENDS"the next day she sais she like's him know and they had a conversation about how they both liked eachother and they will go out now.What happened 2 our vow???It's not that important 2 me but i can't trust her anymore,should i temind her,or let her have this fling that will end up exactly how it happened with her old boyfriend who got tired of her and then didn't break up with her and started making out with other grlz!!!!!This is the exact same kinda guy,and she thinks i'm being dumb saying that kind of stuff,i care about her don't want it 2 be like this!!!!Please HELP!!!!

what should i do? ok here the thing. my friend was suppost to spend the night tonight. and we were thinking of going to the movies with some guys. I asked my mom if i could go to the movies with them and meet my friend there. my mom said no cause the movie they were goin to see would be to scary. so i told my friend i couldnt go and to go without me( i was trying to make her feel guilty). She said she really wanted to go to i said what ever go. and i told her that i doubt my mom would let you sped the night if you go to the movies with out me. and she said ok. so i asked her if she was going to go to the movies with her friend and mine and her boyfriend or come to my house(which we have had it planned for like a month or so.) and she told me she was goin to go to the movies with her bf instead come to my house. that mad me really mad and i just spent like 30 min crying cause i was really sad and really mad! His wife was a highly reconized nurse in the city. She fought breast cancer ten years ago and beat it, but another form of cancer took her life. She was 54. He had brought her in on a few occassions and they both came in on Easter and brought me flowers. He has been my customer almost daily for two years. I cook and serve in a small motel restaurant so I have a lot of contact with my customers. It took me almost a year to get this customer to open up cause you could tell he was troubled. He praises me daily and tells me I am like a smiling sunshine when he comes in for his breakfast. I would just like some feed back on how to approach him. Do I call him? The boss and I will be going to the funeral parlor on Sunday, but that is a long time from death, she died Tuesday and the funeral is not til Monday. I know this may be a strange request, but I hope someone out their has had a experience close to this one and can help me out.
