I had a brief fling with this guy but i decided to call it off cos i felt like we were more friends than lovers and we'd never be anything else. I didnt have any feelings for him apart from friendship. We agreed to stay friends and see each other regularly, go to local once a week and speak regularly.
I've moved on and now in a very happy relationship.
I was out with my mates last night and he was there and as i'm friends with his mates, i sat and had laugh with them all.
He's just text me and told me that he cried when he got home last night cos he still loves me!!!
He's tried making me jealous by saying he's had sex with an ex last week and then says he has a crush on someone else but it dont work cos i'm no longer interested in him that way!
What do i do???????

My friend of over 20 years is having problems with her relationship.
Her ex husband left her couple of years ago for her best friend and although i had an idea what he was playing at, i never told her til after he left cos she was blaming herself.
I helped her back on her feet and even found her the guy she's with now!
However, i've know for a few months that he's still going on dating sites saying that he's single and looking for someone. He even sent my workmate a message knowing that we work together!
I havent told my friend about this but agreed to try talking to her partner.
I spoke to him last night and he said that he cant cope with her mood swings and is looking for somewhere else to live but would still like to stay in a relationship with her.
She left the pub in a mood last night at about 10pm whilst he refused to go after her and was still there at 1am!
Seems to me that he's used her just for a roof over his head but she's been so desperate for a man in her life!

I dont want to be mean about it I care about our friendship but I bought my home and she was driving a long commute she dosent really do anything to help me out I feel like im being taken advantage of someone help me tell this girl she needs to get the hell out!!!!

I don't know what to do first he acts like we are together then he turns around and says oh by the way we are just friends and thats it then turns around and tells me he seeing somebody else He calls me all the time and acts like he is so worried about me.

My friend wants to buy me a cool leather jacket for riding with him in the winter. I told him I don't need one, yet he insists on getting me one.
I see him nothing more than a friend. He knows that, too. But he is offering to do this and I would like to accept. Will I be sending a wrong message by accepting? He is letting me think he is doing me a favor, thats all. I believe it to some point, though that is being awfully thoughtful coming from a guy like him.
But can I not take this gift without it meaning more than friendship?

We've known each other for 7 years, she got married 2 years ago and has a kid now, and never took the effort to meet face to face with me, instead always relies on daily telephone calls which are boring and there usually nothing new to say. I always try to arrange meetings but she never makes it. And she thinks that maintaining daily telephone calls is going to save the relationship. The latest incident, was the last straw, I just stopped liking her, and its killing me!!!

Do you guys feel that a person can know too much? That it actually turns most people off rather than on and makes it harder to make friends and get dates? I know the classic nerd story, but I don't know how close to reality that is. I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about. Seriously, let's say that you study all religions and have read almost all religious texts and are therefore moderately to well versed in them, like learning new words and terminology (dictionary or whatever...I've read it), enjoy math and physics and so on. Does this have more of a negative affect on socializing than positive?

ok i have three gay friends(yes there all guys and yea their gay with each other) ok one of the gay guys(cody)was at my house when i came home from school(like he always is) he stayed 4 dinner just like every other friday night but when he was about to get in his car to leave he told me to come over to the other side of his car. i did and he started talking about how good dinner was and told me to tell billy(the guy i live with) thanks 4 letting him stay 4 dinner. he stoped talking so i was about to go back inside,but as i was about to walk back inside cody truned me arond and kissed me on the lips!!(it was a freach kiss with alot of tongue i could bearly breath!!)at first i thought it was just a joke but then he stoped and pull away and said "was that to weird?" i didnt answer him i just staired at him (i was in total shock) then he said bye and just left it was so weird but what do you think?
