For a man a good job is important at the same time he has to settle in life also. Please read:
1. If your job is most important like IAS, IPS, Govt. in a comparitively good position and opportunities, do not leave it.
2. If your job not much important and you can get another job in short span of time then go for your girl-friend but conditions below: (a) without job you can't enjoy a happy family life
(b) the girl which you said should be socially, economically, financial, (beautiful also) sound and have some source of income
(c) Do't think that after leaving your job - you go for marriage and it will be fit without a job with relatives****&&&****? just think about it one minute....
3. If the above conditions suits and OK then go ahead with your girl, but still I am not satisfied.
4. Once again, I would like to tell you that job is important than a girl...as you can get another...
5. After "falling love" you can't think anything about this world...remember...just be careful...it is like that...Therefore, my suggestion is do't go behind anything blindly...

if you are working on establishing your career then the job is more important than girlfriends. if it is a meaningless job that doesn't mean anything then the girlfriends are more important. but you gotta have a job and be making some money to usually find a decent girl.
most girls don't want to go out with an unemployed bum for any length of time.
but establishing your career is very important and any distractions are bad. get your life together and then focus on finding a decent lady. in the meantime just have hit and run sex with the ladies but don't let it screw up your career progress.

obviously job! If you have a good job with good salary no wonder you will get a good girlfriend . Afterall carrier is most important than girlfriend or boyfriend.

If one is born rich and doesn't have the necessity to earn for a living, then may be he could chose girlfriends over a job.
For most, it is the job first and then the girlfriend, not from a selfish motive. Without financial independence, keeping the girlfriend happy is impossible.
